I'm in the same boat as you. I went in just expecting a BA, but found out that I would need a lift in order to create the correct proportions and look that I want. It's a scary thought, but if it's going to get me beautiful boobies, I'll have to go along w/ it. I have been reassured that I'll be fine as well. Best of luck to you! As your date is coming up before mine, be sure and let me know how it all goes!

Here's the thing. Be prepared for your breasts to look a little scary at first. We all invision coming out of surgery with a new beautiful pair of boobs. Just remember it takes time to get to the end result. You have to be patient.

You'll have an incision all the way around your areola and that can be scary. You'll have steri-strips that will stay on for a couple of weeks. My PS removed mine at 3 weeks post-op and he then took some alcohol and rubbed the scabs off. Didn't hurt at all. He started me on scar massage at that point, to help the scar smooth out and lay down. I did have some hypersensitivity for about a week or so, and itching, but that is all good. It means you are healing.

I promise you, once it heals up, you will be happy. Your scars will be barely noticeable. Mine are thin while lines now. You'd have to get really close to me to notice them. If you saw me from a distance, you wouldn't even know I had a BA/BL. You'll be just fine. Don't worry.

Hi,
I'm two weeks postop from a benelli lift and ba. I was really hoping to not have a lift and teared up a little when he said that I needed one.
I still have my tape on and am almost healed from serious bruising. From reading this forum, not everyone bruises but I did. As far as pain, it has not been bad at all. In fact, I can't tell what's from the ba vs the lift.
Any discomfort and "ugliness" is totally worth the final result. You wouldn't want saggy BIG boobs, right?
Relax...and go for it!

Good luck!

Hey!

I'm 3 weeks out from my BA/BL.. I also had a benelli lift. My PS did not put steri-strips around the incisions.. he opted for gauze, which only covered them for a few days. The scabs and just the overall appearance does look a bit ugly at first, but all my scabs are gone now and my breasts look so much better. I have encountered a few problems though... the one lift that was done on my left breast came out.... and my right breast has a hematoma, which will be removed tomorrow. My complications are so rare though, and despite them- I'm very happy with the results.

and I love it. I"m healing nicely and so happy with the results. If I had known how great I'd end up, I would have saved myself a lot of needless anxiety!

circle lift and implant scheduled

I was hoping that an implant would help with the sagging but the ps said I could do just a circle lift instead of a full like all of the other doctors stated. I'm getting at least 650ccs so I'm hoping that isn't too big for my tall but small frame. I'm 5'7" at 150lbs currently wearing a 34c hoping for a 36D or 34DD. I'll try to post after my surgery next Thursday. I'm not to worried about the scars because they will be around the areola anyway.
