Question What's considered a lift? Crescents?

Hi all. Now that I've been on this site, questions keep popping into my head and if you would oblige, I have a few.
For those of you who are considering a lift, but are unsure, how come you are deciding between a lift and no lift at all? Would a crescent lift be considered an in-between solution between no lift and a major lift? Does anyone out there have an opinion on the usefulness of crescent lifts?
I had a crescent lift on my left boob and not my right because there was more ptosis on my lefty. Anyone else out there just have a crescent on one side? And, how do you feel about the scarring from the crescent lift. The stitches on my right have fully dissolved, but the left is still healing. Sorry so many questions. I'm just trying to figure out if this is normal. Thanks all!

I definitely have sagging. Before my initial consultation I was hoping to have "enough" put in to "re-inflate" my boobs. Sadly during the consultation my PS said that it was easy to see that I needed a lift. He also said that he doesn't want to just put implants in and have my bigger boobs point to the floor. He hinted that there are other PS's that would probably do the surgery without a lift but he said that he was in a position in his practice that he only wanted a "perfect" appearance. I was sold on that line. Basically he told me that if I don't want perfect breasts... goodbye. I definitely wanted someone who wanted a good look and have it done "right". NOT that I'm the least bit excited about having a lollipop lift. But, the question my daughter (6 yr old) asked still rings in my ears. "mommy why do your boobs point (then points to the floor)"

I remember when my daughter was little and noticed I had boobs and thought they were "big." Then she got a bit older and noticed that I didn't really have any and commented on how "small" they were. I went from big to small in a few years without changing size at all! Children are so honest...gotta love it sometimes.

I was soo worried about having a lift. I had a benelli which is removal of a circle around the aerola. I could not be happier with the results! The scarring is barely noticable even now (just a tiny think white line at the mo).

I am soo glad my PS suggested the lift, cause otherwise I prob wouldnt have been nearly as happy with my new boobs as I am now.
