Has Anyone...
Ever had a lift done with no repositioning of the nipple? Does that sound weird? thats what my surgeon is suggesting because I had a reduction years ago, the way it was done, moving my nipple may jeopardize it now. I will also be getting implants, but 3 weeks later.
Im scared im gonna have these perky boobs with low nipples!

I'm not sure if maybe I'm misuderstanding or not but that sounds a bit odd. Not sure what the point of a lift is if they're not going to reposition the areola at least slightly. I also don't understand why they wouldn't do it all at the same time. Doing it twice is more expensive (operating fees) and more stressful on healing. I'd get a second opinion if I were you, just to be on the safe side.
If you don't have a lot of sagging maybe you don't need a lift but of course that's hard to say just from text. You must not need one too badly if they don't want to reposition the areola/nipple. However they need to be more careful when placing unders to have a perky breast otherwise the natural tissue will sag over the high implant firm under the muscle. (if that makes sense) Overs give a bit of lift and work well if you've got enough of your own breast tissue. They sit where your natural tissue is so they move and feel very realistic and there's less chance of that perky boob with a low nipple thing. I'm obviously not a surgeon but from what you've said (and your profile, which states you're a 36C), I'd think overs and no lift may be better for you if you've got minimal sag and as much tissue as you do. It would be less invasive and cost less as well. I'd definitely get another surgeon's opinion on this. Just my take on it though.

I had a breast lift in 99 with nipple repositioning. Over the last couple of years they began to sag. This year I had another lift & implants, but no nipple repositioning this time. I discussed this with my dr before surgery-his suggestion was to not reposition. The lift pushed them up & the implant gave me more fullness on top & my nipples are now where they're supposed to be-even without moving them. Does this make any sense? My situation is different from yours in that mine were repositioned years ago. Hope this helps.

Well, the only reason that they cant move my nipple is because I had a breast reduction 9 years ago and the way that they did the procedure would put my nipple at risk of "dying", hmm its a weird situation.... maybe I should get a second opinion, and ask a surgeon on here as well.

i am hoping that with my new slight lift and refill to 400cc's that my nipple wont have to be moved again!!!! sheesh! i just got my sensation back and i also have scars that need to fade more. i hope not to be cut like this again( my new procedure will be through underarm)unless he is going to revise scar tissue.
