Will I need a lift? Maybe?

I've been reading the threads about lifts, and haven't really read one with the same problem I'm seeing. It may be nothing cause I'm only a week and a bit out. And I plan on running it by my PS on Tuesday when I get my stiches out.
I nursed 3 children and average of 10 months each....and had very little boobs to begin with, so I was left pretty much with just really saggy skin and an elastic band nipple on both of them. I didn't really notice till I took my before pics, but my leftie hung lower than my right (as much as it could given the size of it) Not a big deal, I figured the implants would go in and I wouldn't notice it anymore.
Now though, my "real" boob part on the left seems to be hanging off the implant lower than my crease. I know it is still really early and the implant will drop considerably (it's still up by my armpit) , but my right side seems to be matching up with it's crease much better. The nurse told me last week that as the implant moves down, it will kind of "pick up" that part of my breast?? Has anyone had this? I'm really trying to stay hopeful that it will all come together and fix itself with time, but at the moment it looks really funny to me. - One BIG reason I haven't started a pic group yet.
Any ideas or sililar experiences would be much appreciated.
If you're like me though, and have no idea, thanks for listening anyway.

We are in exactly the same boat, so please LET ME KNOW what your PS says!

When we pm'd, I didn't realize you and I are very similar in stats and concerns.

We are both basically same height & weight, not much breast to start with, saggy after nursing kids (only my leftie though, because it was bigger).

I too was told (and am still hoping) the implant will pick up the sag. My breast is still kinda hanging off the implant, a stair-step effect.

My saggy left nip does seem to have picked up about a half inch so far, although I can't be sure.

It would have to pick up another half inch to go before it would look non-saggy and match my rightie. This may not seem like a lot but it makes ALL the difference between looking normal and looking weird. It's not just the droopiness, its the weird shape created by the breast hanging below the implant.

Advice: measure the distance from your nipple to your collar bone (hold the tape straight up and down), and the distance from your nipple to the top of the implant. Keep track.

You will be able to re-measure every couple of weeks and see if you are making progress, and give your PS hard numbers, which helps them a lot. I wish I had known to do this early on. It is very hard to be sure when you just track it visually, the eyes play tricks.

My PS said if my nip hasn't lifted any in six more weeks it probably won't anymore. In that case, he will do a simple crescent lift under local anesthesia, and that will take care of the problem.

Wow, thanks, I'll try the measurements and see if they start to change. It is really hard to tell just by looking....I find I see things better on me with pics than just by looking in the mirror...don't know if you're the same. But I will keep you posted re: what PS says and if anything changes. Let me know if your leftie cheers up.

Thanks, sweetie! Me too, I find pics better than mirrors. And I find measurements even better than pics -- the same "me" can look so different pic to pic depending on lighting, angle, etc.

I'm just going to throw out what my PS said and what he's going to do for me. During my initial consult he did notice my left being a little larger and lower than the right. He suggested (at no extra cost) to doing a mini-lift (not sure the proper term for it) on the left so it matches the right when all said and done. My breasts are deflated from breastfeeding our one and only. I am close to needing a full lift, but, with the implants and mini-lift, he said I will be fine. Of course, wearing the proper support after the breast augmentation at all times does do wonders with sagging.

Well, my advice can be thrown out the window, sorry. My PS ended up not doing a lift on me. He gave me high profiles and they are beautiful. He told me this morning that when all said and done they will look like brand new boobs (aside from pregnancy stretch marks already in place). So, whatever your PS may say now, may change when your on the table.
