Correcting sag by changing unders to overs?

If someone has mild ptosis (needing crescent or benelli lift) with unders, would it be feasible to just move the implants over the muscle to correct it?

I know it wouldn't actually lift the breast, but if the sag was tolerable would this be a good way to at least correct double bubble/snoopy deformity and stave off the need for a lift?

Yes, I think it would help in that scenario, at least somewhat. It's more of a short term solution though as a lift is probably ideal.

Perhaps it would help, but isn't that more invasive than a lift?

lift

I'm not sure you'll get ideal without a lift. If you have extra skin, even overs will drop over time--but you would likely avoid the double bubble I guess. Just might have more sag I'm thinking? Gravity will take advantage of the extra skin.

Can you go in for a consult? Would be interesting to hear the options....

I'm not really sure. I had always assumed that just changing the placement of the implants would at least not inherently change the breast shape or cause any additional scarring.

But from what I gather from all of your responses, it would be better to just get a lift when it becomes necessary so as to avoid more surgery down the line.
