My directions say to wear a sports bra at all times for the first 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, if I'm healing without problems, I'm allowed to sleep without the sports bra. And it says to not go braless during the day for 6 weeks.

Thats so interesting, because my PS told me to NOT wear any bras at all (unless I absolutely have to), for 3-4 weeks. At my one month post-op a week ago, he said I should start wearing sports bras. It's amazing how different every doctor's advice seems to be.

I wish that was my PS's advice...sports bras really limit clothing options in the summer!

Every PS is different. I basically never go without a bra. I want to keep my results for as long as I can. I have really thin skin and the tendency to sag again is great. My PS told me the more support, the better. An occasional braless night is okay, if I wanted to wear something that required it, but for the most part, he wants me in a bra. I even sleep in a sports bra every night.
