So had my consult and he decided on a full lift with under muscle saline implants!! I almost feel like backing out because im so scared about the scars!! I need people that have had it done to be real honest with me about how bad the scars are!!! I really dont know what to do or if it will be worth it!! Thanks!!

Honestly, I do not think they are that bad. I just had a full lift with saline implants about a month ago, and I am very pleased with how the incisions have healed. I actually just shared some pictures with another gal who was concerned about scarring, and I think she was pleasantly surprised at how they look.

Everyone heals differently, so I don't want to make a blanket statement, but for me, they don't look bad at all!! I've been super diligent about taking care of them (taping, using Scar Zone and Bio Oil), so I'm guessing that has helped the process.

Funny story... my boyfriend did NOT want me to get a full lift because HE was worried the scars would look terrible. (I think he had some weird franken-boob image in his mind... like he should even care, but whatever!). Anyway, the other night he took a good look and had to say "damn, those actually don't look bad at all!"

If you're worried about a lift, don't let the scars be the reason that deters you. Good luck!!

Cool

No, don't be scared. I had the doughnut lift on June 27th and am healing so nicely. I dont think the scars will be bad at all. Try and go for the doughnut lift rather than the lollipop lift and the scars will not be bad at all b/c it goes around the areola and kinda blends in. For me, I was worried about the scars but I was more unhappy with my saggy breasts. I'd rather have nice boobs with some scars than saggy boobs with no scars. Every one is different but in my case I think my scars will be hardly noticable and Im not even 4 weeks out yet.

Trust USTBbae21, I saw her pics and she looks amazing. I had a full anchor lift on the 8th, and although I had some issues I would not have had the implants with out it. I was a saggy C and now I'm a perky D. It does wonder for your posture and really turns the clock back, at least in my case. My PS recommends the silicone sheeting for scars. I have seen pictures of his patients that have used them and you can hardly see the scars 3 months out. They actually come in the shape of the different types of lifts. Good luck and keep us posted!

I'm right there with you! When I thought about the investment, it only made sense to get the lift and have my boobs look exactly like I want them! Also, ask your PS if you can have the most simple lift and still get a good result. I was told at my first pre-op that I would most likely need a full anchor. I begged him to please try just the Benelli, but I gave him authority to make that decision while I was under. I was SO surprised when I woke up and the nurse told me all I got was a Benelli! (I had figured at least a lollipop...) So far, I like what I see. Hopefully the Benelli is all I needed to get these girls sitting up right!

I had a full Benilli lift and unders, and I also was worried about the scars, but honestly, they look amazing - I'm 2 months out, and see no scars at all, however, there is still some wrinkling around the areolas which is supposed to gradually go away, but it can take a few months. Even still, the difference between what I looked like pre-op and what they look like now is astounding. I really wouldn't worry about the scars, especially if you get a Benilli lift.
