Question Swollen Areolas?

Is it normal for your areaolas to be very swollen? I was fine for a couple of days - they even seemed flat, maybe because of all the ice packs? - but I woke up this morning to big ole puffy nips! Did this happen to anyone else? I am four days out and I would have to say this morning is the worst. They are soooo sore all of a sudden!

I wish I could tell you it gets better.....but I think its just one of those things that come and go.....I still have that swolleness of the areola.....and I'm ??? 12days out now.....it seems to kinda come and go though. I tried using the heating pad to kinda see if that would help any with the discomfort at least and it seemed to work for me......just alternate the heat and ice......(use mostly ice....hence the swelling...)
It will get better.....(I'm just not sure when exactly )

Did you have a lift with yours too? I'm wondering if they are so swollen because of the tightening all around it? I have a lot of "puckering" (I think that's what you call it...like the pursestring effect) but my PS says that will go away. Not soon enough!

Red face Happens to me!

Same here! There are some days that I wake up and they are completely flat and other mornings where they seem puffy and sore..I have no idea why..You think its maybe the position we sleep in?..the less contact with clothing than I guess the less sore they are in the morning..Anyways just a thought..But I dont think its nothing to be concened about! If you ask your ps let us know..I dont see mine for another 3 months! Thanks
