Drains with a Lift?

Hi Girls,
I will be getting my BLw/Ba Feb 9th. I was wondering if you normally get drains with a lift. For some reason I just assumed that you do. I still have to talk to my PS about what is involved with the procedure. The thought just came to my mind and I thought I would ask.
Thanks Girls

I have read on here that some ladies have and other ladies have not had the drains,I really think it depends on your PS,They don't hurt anyway,I had drains and mine was a straight forward BA.

Some surgeons use drains and some don't, you'll have to ask your PS. Let us know what they say.

Depends on the PS. I had drains and they stayed in for 7 days until fluids reached the level required for removal. They aren't painful but def inconvenient. I had a nice robe that I wore inside out so I could put the "bulbs" into the pockets.

I had my first BA with a Benelli lift 2 years ago and did not require drains. Like Ivy said, let us know what your PS says! I was quite nervous I would have to have them but have heard they are more inconvenient than painful. Good luck!!

Mine didn't use drains (anchor lift with implants) - I guess it depends on doc preference.
