Has anyone else had really puffy nipples following their Benelli (areola) lift? Mine weren't really that bad until about two to three weeks ago (I'm about two months out from my BA) but they seem to be getting worse. What to do??? Is this normal? Does it go back down? Thanks to anyone who can give me answers!! |

![]() | P. Nippy...that's me! Yeah, just call me Puff Nippy! I was just thinking of posting this question! I am only 3 1/2 weeks out and my whole nipple and areolar complex is puffy! I am assuming that it is a normal thing given what the poor things have been through. Plus, the pressure the implant is putting on it as it works to drop, ya know the whole gravity thing. That all being said, I just wonder how long it lasts. I kind of recall reading a post about this and I think I remember that the general consensus was 2 months. I am really interested in reading the responses! Thanks for posting this! |

I just had an areola lift and a BA done and both my areolas were flat, however, it's now been 12 days and my right areola has now become very puffy, the left one is still flat. I really hope it goes down because you can see it right threw a thin bra and looks bad. I hope that we get posts from women that had this done a while ago so we can hear what the "final" results are. I go to see my plastic surgeon on the 29th, I'll ask him about it and post what the answer is. It'll suck if I have one flat areola and one puffy one permanently. |

Hello, it's been 4 months since my BA with Lift and I'm still puffy...I really notice it when I'm cold or "excited" LOL But I'm sure it will go away or at least not be so noticeable with time....

I did not know this was something that happened. I am interested in hearing what everyone has to say.

ME TOO! I am so relieved to read this!! Also, you can really feel the sutures underneath the surface, along the scars. Glad to hear they will calm down - they are really prominent!!
