Question Pictures of Anchor Lift

Hey ladies just a few quick questions about the Anchor lift. 1st off is the recovery really painful?? 2nd how bad are the scars?? Do they fade in time?? Can you feel them?? Would anyone mind showing me photos of theirs?? I am currently a saggy C cup and have nursed 3 babies and went from the C cup to an F cup all 3 times. Both of the dr's I met with said that I would need the anchor lift. I am just worried and have not yet booked my surgery but am trying to work myself up to it!! Thanks again ladies
Katie

I would love to know how to post pictures. When I upload them from my camera to the computer they are too big to put anywhere and I don't know how to resize them. Otherwise I would not mind showing you.

I had the anchor lift and was off work one week. The recovery was not as bad as I thought it would be. I had my surgery on a Tuesday and Friday I was out shopping and trying on clothes. Then for a couple more weeks it just felt like the muscle soreness you get when you over exercise.

Like you I was the most scared of the scars...even more than the pain... But even tho I have had healing problems ...I had an alergic reaction to the tape or the stitches and kept breaking out in blisters around the incision site and my bottom scars are hypertropic (big, red and rope like) I do not regret it at all. I really thought the surgon went overboard with how far he cut me on the bottom, but then my cousin showed me hers and hers lift was done about 5 years ago. Hers are as long as mine are too and you can hardly see her scars at all. So I have something to look forward to. I realize that unless I show someome no one but my husband will ever see my scars. With clothes on they look great.

Wink Thanks

Toni for the information. I am scared yet the more I think about the Dr I am leaning toward the more comfortable I am becoming. I think I was most worried because he seriously only spent like 8 min with me but he totally knew just by looking what my "issues" are! It was like he was reading my mind, I called yesterday and left a message for his girl and she called back and talked to me for about 20 min on the phone today and answered about 15 questions that I had and all that I am finding on him is GREAT info. He is actually one of the dr.'s on the list here too. I am now just figuring out IF I do it I need to find help during the surgery for my little ones and that will be hard as all the family is out of state and the dr. is 2 hours from us so I would go down the night before and stay the night of the surgery! I guess I will just keep trying to figure it out! Thanks again

Hey Momma of 3! I am 5 days PO from a full anchor lift and BA. I also nursed 2 children and went from Full C to F's each time, my youngest is 3 now, and my boobies shrunk to a B/very small C! They looked like 2 long tubes.....NOT ATTRACTIVE!! But I'm here to say the full anchor lift was the best thing I could have done, even though I'm way to early to tell how bad my scarring is going to turn out, the perkiness and fullness is amazing!! My pain was so minimal that I only had to take the drugs on days 1 and 2. My implants were also over's so I'm sure that has helped with the pain issue as well....good luck as you decide what to do!!

Hi Momma of 3
I just wanted to wish you luck with your decision. I too am having an anchor lift on Feb 9th. I am also nervous about the scarring and initial outcome. I will let you know how my new girls turn out after all is said and done.

I had a full anchor lift with implants 7 days ago. The most painful/annoying part for me is adjusting to the implants (unders, 340cc) - the incisions haven't been painful, just itching from the tape and healing. The implants feel heavy, tight and sore but it hasn't been as bad as I thought. I've been off the pain meds for 3 days now and am getting around great. Having surgery was a tough decision to make because of the scarring, but I don't regret it. I went from a 40DD to a 34B and my boobs looked like deflated balloons. I agonized over this decision for months before booking my surgery...even sat down and wrote out the "pros" and "cons" and cried a few times in the process. It's normal to have reservations - surgery is a big step both emotionally and physically. You have to do what makes you happy. Good luck to you & hugs!
