I think some people take a valium or something before procedures like this so they don't get freaked out, did you do that or did they offer it?
I didn't need the valium. I just stared at the cieling and carried on a conversation. You do feel that, but you can't see anything as he has a sterile drape over your breast, and when you are laying back my boobs were above eye level, so I couldn't see.

Congrats Hon!! I haven't seen you on here in a while! :-) I had this done when I had my BA - I love the results! You are brave to do this awake in the office - I'm a big chicken! :-(

I used Vit. E on my incisions and it's been 8 weeks and they are gone! I started when my plastic surgeon gave me the ok - I think that was at about the 2 week point.

So I am wondering why to have a reduction- I did, because I had a lift, and at my redo my plastic surgeon convinced me that mine were too large, using a plastic measuring disk. Although I have always liked my large areolas, I let him convice me to make them less "matronly" was the word I think he used.

Also I was wondering if the actual BA process causes our areolas to stretch and become larger? In many before and after photos it seems to happen.

I know I have been barely on, I have had dizziness and shortness of breath since Father's Day, I can't even do simple things at home, I hope my Endocronologist can figure this out, because Primary doctor and the ER doctor are saying "panic attack" uhh 24 hours a day, since Father's Day wtf? One doctor says my thyroid normal, another I need more thyroid medication, another less wtf is up with that?? That's why I haven't been on.

I thought my areola's were to big, mine were by genetics, but also since my very first ba (this was my 3rd) I had a crescent mastopexy and 2 years later they stretched, they were the shape of an egg. That's my experience.

Ahh I need help, girls! ;(

I want to get an areola reduction but I don't want to get the one that the doctor cuts all around the areola. I feel like it could be fixed with a cut on the top and on the bottom to take some excess of skin. Any suggestions? ;( I am so scared of the scar that I can end up with...

I am felling really uncomfortable with them ;/

is there a reduction that does not cut around? I think if you want a reduction they have to cut around?

What I meant to say is not cutting the whole areola, a full circle like the benelli. I am scared that the scar will look bad because of my skin.

A Crescent Lift top and bottom? Sounds like a great idea! I'd be interested in that...

I just sent you a FR, because I've wondered about an areola reduction. I also have genetically large areola's and after my BA they look even larger. I am currently pregnant, so wouldn't be getting anything done for quite a while, but am interested in seeing how the outcome looks. I had my BA through the areola incision, so I'm not worried about scarring, because mine look great. Thanks for sharing!

I am fighting with the idea of having the aereola reduction with the benelli lift when I have my boobs redone next month. But I am very scared about scarring. Now that you have had time to heal how do your scars look? I'm sending a FR. Thank you!

I have your same worry. I also was told I might need a bennelli lift and I'm freaaaakingg out big time. I'm so scared of the scars and ending with nipples pointing in different directions or in diferent sizes. It makes me wanna cry just to think about it.
