Severe burning pain during night

Girls, I don't know what is going on but all I am doing is questioning why I did this. Not only am I going thru the incision scar blues, severe new stretch marks, uneveness but now last night I woke up in the middle of the night with the most intense burning pain to my right breast. It felt like someone was tearing my implant from my chest. Once I got up and moved a bit, the pain subsided but WOW it is scares me. You expect things to get better each day, but now it seems like something new to deal with. Has anyone had this feeling...could it be nerve regeneration but if so why only during sleep? UGH I don't know how to look in the mirror and smile like so many of these ladies do on here...not the best day ya'll. Any insight would be appreciated girls. Thanks

So sorry you're having a bad day. I wish my ps had prepared me for the emotional recovery. Anyway, in my experience, that burning pain comes and goes.

Hey there-
I have had this too. It seems to be getting better, but it was especially bad for a few nights this past week. Woke me up to searing, burning pain and felt like implant was pushing it's way through my body and ripping stuff as it went. Then it would go away after I changed positions. It seems to be getting better now, but at least you know you are not alone. I am also still "uneven and sore" at 3 weeks and 2 days out. They are however looking better than my pre surgery boobies, and I'm loving the new lifted shapes (notice I made that plural, because the shapes are different! LOL)

I have not had the burning pain at nite but I have had it throughout the day. I also get the zingers. They go away. I know sometimes just a little hold or rubbing/squishing always helped me. I hope you feel better soon!!!

I have the same burning, searing pain. i only get it in the left side. i had anchor lift as well and the searing pain seems to be at the nipple area and to the left side of my left boob. my left side has given me trouble since day 1. it is bigger than the right and also has created a bubble or bulge into my armpit. i had the searing pain all day long and i called my ps and she placed me on muscle relaxers. this has helped to take the edge off and it does put me to sleep. I wonder how long i will have to sleep through recovery process.

thanks

Thank god for this forum!!!! You all are so encouraging and helpful! I did call the PS and the nurse reassurred me this is nerve regeneration and that a good few massages to the affected breast may help when this happens. Im on my way out to a race in Michigan for the next 4 days. Will be my first night lying flat in bed so hopefully I will be able to get rested. Packed the Vicodens just in case. YOU LADIES ROCK!!! Thank you again for all your input!! I know one year down the road I'll be able to provide all this positiveness back to another who may be going through what we are right now. Have a great weekend all!!!

I had this too while I was sleeping at a 45 degree angle. Once I started sleeping flat on my back it wasn't as bad. It subsided within 2 weeks... I only had a breast augmentation though, no BL... hope it goes away soon

Hi, I am one month post op breast lift with 500cc under muscle. My left is coming along though different shape from my right as well! On my right side I too have the bulge under the armpit,,,,,,does that go away with recovery? Is it the implant or the muscle knotted? If any one can answer that would be great :-) This recover is a Bit-h!

Thanks
