lower breast pole and incisions hard and tender

I am 5 weeks post op and my incision areas after my full anchor lift are very tender and hard almost like fluid built up under the incisions the right side it also has an orange peel look at the bottom half of the breast and the pores seem larger. Anyone experience this?

Hi I don't know about the orange peel look. Was your skin porous before? Maybe it is just stretched and it needs more time. As for the feeling of hardness underneath...I have that still in different areas of my boob. Especially around the areola. The girls told me it could be scar tissue and it will soften with time. I believe that is what it could be. I hope you feel better.

Hi, no my breast tissue was so soft before not like this at all. I was reading online and came up with something called necrosis which sounds like what I am experiencing. It said necrosis is basically when the breast tissue dies due to trauma or injury. I am assuming because I am hardening and extermely tender where all my bruising was/is thats what I have? I am thinking scar tissue too who knows! I am just so frustrated as my left side is great and my right,,,,,,,,ugh! Hope you are coming along and have great results soon :-)

My PS is not cooperative! Everytime I ask a question he gets defensive and says I need to give it time and if I didnt expect pain then I shouldnt have had surgery,,,Imagine! So I am trying to get some feedback on this site as I just dont know where to turn at this point and all the girls have been so great on here. Thanks~

Sorry to hear about your ps being that way. Sometimes I feel like he is that way to me too. Why dont they understand that this is a roller coaster for us & if were paying them big money then they need to be patient with us. I wish I was able to help you. I was thinking maybe its a deep bruise. Did you check to see what people with necrosis pictures look like? Sorry I cant help but I am sending you hugs & wishes.

Thanks so much for your reply :-) It amazes me how some or atleast my PS can be so cold and impatient. I told him he does thousands of these a year and feel he should be a little more understanding with my questions. Guess what his response was???? " If all of my patients were like you I would have retired" Imagine! All I did was ask questions regarding my healing complications and told him it would be nice if he can just reassure me this is normal. Guess I cant pick a different PS now but hope that he will come thru for me somehow,ugh! Yes, I am thinking maybe a deep bruise too I didnt see any pics of necrosis but just went to wholefoods and bought a load of vitamins to hopefully help with the healing process. I did a lot of research so I know I will be taking them safely.

I cant even imagine this happening. So on a personal note. I went & saw a gastro specialist once that I had to get a referral too. He was so rude to me & in my visit he told me that if he had to see patients with constipation all day long he would have no time to do his job. I left there crying. I went straight over to my reg dr & made another appt. I went to work that day & my co-workers were telling me about ucsf. So when I went back to my dr I said I want my referral to go to ucsf. Over 3 months of testing & I finally had my results & it wasnt just some simple thing. My lower half of my colon does not contract & my colon is about 3x the size of a normal colon. Now I have a great dr to work with & that took his time. That is so important. I know my ps now gets frustrated because I havent had the smoothest recovery. I had a complication & had to go back in but he has never made me feel like I shouldnt come in anymore or not to call & ask questions. Sorry your ps was rude. I hope it all works out. (((HUGS)))

These Dr's are unreal! I was practically in tears with my Dr too I am happy to hear you are with a great Dr now :-) I guess to some of these Dr's we are just a number and once they get their $ they dont want to deal with us should we not have a smooth recovery! It's so unfair isn't it as we are so nervous and need to understand what is happening being treated the way some treat us is so unacceptable! I am dreading my follow up this Monday as I dont know what attitude or nasty comment to expect (well,yes I do,lol) if I didnt need him right now I would be just as nasty back but I feel like I am at his mercy. Hope this is all over soon~ xoxo

I cannot believe this PS would say something like that. It upsets me so much. After you paid good money for a service that does not just include the surgery but the aftercare, medical attention, and all needs. That is just so rude. I am sorry that you are going through this and to make matters worse your PS can't even be nice.

I see you are located in Hollywood, Florida I used a PS in Miami I'm glad you didnt use mine! My PS even said to me that "I am looking for things to be wrong" HELLO,,,,,,why would I? If I have all these visual problems w/ my breast how am I looking for something to be wrong when it is there! The PS says I am not being patient which I have no problem being patient I understand it can take months/ear to heal but when one side is good and the other is a mess and very painful I have concerns and should feel like I can address them instead I get basically treated very nasty with sarcastic responses. Thanks for letting me vent :-)

Hi there ~ I saw your post on ask the ps. I have had 2 breast augmentation now & I had complications with my first one. JBI is wonderful because these ladies are so helpful. I think it would be great if you can update your page & add pics so if you have any other questions we would love to see what your talking about. I had an incision open up on me too. It was open for a little while. I got such great support here when it happened. I ended up getting it stitched up & my boob formed a huge lump scar tissue that just got removed a month ago. I am glad that I took progress pics along the way. Feel free to vent anytime & if you ever want to talk ~ I am here.

Thanks so much for your support! My bleeding stopped then 3 weeks later started up again from a little opening on my vertical line after a few days it stopped bleeding on its own and closed up naturally. I went to my PS twice that week so he can check and make sure there was no infection which he said there was not (thank god) now its just very hard, tender and looks bruised in the area and surrounding area. I am going to the PS Monday will see what he has to say. I am not very computer savy so uploading pics I dont see happening but maybe oneday I can figure it out. Thanks again for your email its nice to know there are people on this great site that care when we go thru our ups and downs.
