breast lift after implants!!

I was wondering if anyone had a lift after there implants were in.. like a couple of months later. I know most people go and do it all together... I am curious to see pics is it the same??? I know people get new implant and change size and get a lift at that ttime but I am considering leaving in my implants they are a nice size a little big but I heard the lift makes you look smaller!! Any out there with any insight would be great!!

I am wondering the same thing as my PS says I do not need a lift but I feel I may soo...I was wondering if I get a lift after breast augmentation if that is a good idea? Also, I wonder how long I would need to take off work with just the lift...

I asked one of the doctors on here that question and pretty much if you do it staged the implant and then a lift or vice versa it produces nicer results cause there are alot less variables... How ever it is very safe and acceptable to do it together and most people opt for that cause jezzz who wants 2 sets of bills recovery ect... But that is were I am at in my boob journey

Combining breast augmentation and mastopexy can make for technically-demanding surgery that presents special problems. The purpose is to perform two operations on the breast, which have conflicting goals, at the same time. The purpose of a breast augmentation is to enlarge the breast, which involves stretching the skin of the breast and the areola. A breast lift is designed to reduce the areola and tighten the breast skin envelope. The variables associated with the conflicting goals of these two procedures, and the potential for later changes from each, may cause intraoperative difficulty and postoperative disappointment.

For these reasons, there are a few situations where a staged approach may offer better results. Although most women prefer a single, combined procedure, it may be wise to stage the two operations because more control is achieved with each individual procedure – a breast lift is performed first and allowed to heal, and the augmentation is performed several months later.

The results of combining breast lift and augmentation are less predictable than those associated with either procedure alone. Disappointments related to final scar position, nipple position, implant position, or breast shape may occur. More common problems include migration of the inframammary scar superiorly or some misalignment between the nipple, breast, and/or implant. It is not unusual for a minor revision to be necessary for some patients several months or years later; revision may involve repositioning of the implant, scars, or areola.

I had implants then 4 years later had a lift. With my lift I was just down a couple of days. Depending on your job it would be different and of course how you deal with surgery in general. I severely needed a lift, I was stage 3 one side and stage 4 the other. But I switched PS and he told me I most likely needed a lift with my initial breast augmentation. But I am extremely happy with the outcome right now, going for 1 month PO wed!
