Got my new twins

Hey all,

Im almost 24 hours recovered from getting my twins yesterday. Im feeling sore, not extreme and groggy from the meds. I was in a twilight procedure so I felt the implant go in on my right and I felt when they made a pocket for the right too. I also felt at one point the scalpel on my left and actual blood drip down my side. Also at one point being in twilight, I asked is it over?? what a good patient I am. LOL. So right now, Im in and out of sleepiness and thought I write to you to let you know that I am so happy.

Doc put 325 cc on my right and 300 cc on my left. I have silicone Mentor Memory Gel implants.

Hubby is doing a good job watching all 3 kids but its work for him, especially my 1 yr old.

Its nice to have a weekend off from the kids.

Thanks for hearing me out!

Maria

wow, twilight sleep. you are a very brave soul. if you did that well with the procedure, you should be able to handle recovery with no problem.

I have to be honest that I don't totally know what that "twilight" is, but it sounds awful! Glad you are feeling well.

congratulations! I am 5 days post op and watching the kids on my own at the moment (1 and 3 year old). I am going to call my mom to put the 1 year old for a nap when the time comes (she lives 5 min away). Hopefully your recovery goes equally as well and you will be able to enjoy your babies again soon! It is a nice litle break though isn't it? It makes our hubbies appreciate us more
