Hello, I'am thinking of getting a breast lift & breast augmentation. Is it better to get a breast lift then, wait a little while like 6months to a year & then have a breast augmentation after that? Do you, think the results or the outcome would be better? I don't want to rush & find out later that I should not have gone & done everything so quickly. Afew people sometimes have a breast lift & a breast augmentation all at the same time. I'am trying to be patient and not rush. I see, that everyone likes to rush & get things done but, that might not be a good idea sometimes. Would it be better if I take my time and not rush. Or, does it not make any difference? |

I have been told by multiple PS that 2 parts event produce nicer results however it is very acceptable to get them done together... Nobody wants 2 sets of bills and down time... thats why they put it together... But if you think about that 2 conflicting surgeries one is to increase your breast size and the other shapen and tighten.. Do what feels best for you and works for you in your life cause it is definately cheaper when done together!! |

I did mine at the same time, I saw 3 PS's & none of them suggested 2 different surgeries. I personally couldn't have gone through a 2nd surgery. My results are great. but you do have to do whats best for you.

I had my breast augmentation/bl done in one procedure. I didnt want to go through it in two. I did meet with one ps that wanted to do it in 2 only if I wanted to go with anything bigger than 500cc. So the lift was not ripped open by a big implant. Its a personal choice on whether to do it in 2 or 1. The cost & the recovery time can be double.

I do not want to go with two surgeries but the one consult I have had so far the PS said that if I wanted to go larger than about 500cc's with the Lollipop lift I need I would have to have a second surgery in about a year. I will go with the amount of cc's that are safe and healthy for me considering the fact that I need a lift but admit that I am disappointed at the thought of not being able to go bigger.

I agree, that it is cheaper to have 2 procedures done at once. But, what if a surgeon does something wrong & we don't find out until 3 or 4months later that things dont look right. example: nipples don't point in the right direction or 1 boob is higher than the other. should get it right the first time around with no mistakes. Maybe, I am thinking about it to much & just go for it. But, do my research on a good surgeon. |

Lots of ps do it in one surgery. If it makes you feel better than do it in 2 surgeries. If you have a complication that should be discussed with your ps prior to surgery. I did have a complication. I ended up having a 2nd breast augmentation & I went bigger while I was under. IMO ~ go & meet a ps till you find the right one for you. From there you can choose whether your gonna have 2 or 1 procedure. HTH.

It sounds like you're giving it a lot of thought, and personally, based on my experience, I think that's great. I get what you're saying completely about making sure they are symmetrical before putting the implants in. Also, if you think you might be happy with just a lift, that's one more reason to do it that way. If you have the money to be precise and that's what you want to do, I say good for you! Best wishes.
