![]() | New to lift club... help please.
Hi friends. I had a consult yesterday for a redo. I am going in this winter after my left implant was extracted mid-July. (long story) Anyway, the new PS recommended smaller implants, different size (HP to mod profile), and a lift. I felt very comfortable with him. He seemed conservative... wonder if too much so. He was thinking in the 300 cc range. To me, that sounds too small. 1. Do lifts improve the looks of your breasts so much that you are happier with a smaller implant? I am excited about the prospect of a lift. I definitely think I could use one. I think the PS is right that so far the current implant, a 550cc silicone HP, is not the best for me. It's 9 weeks post-op. I love that it's big, but the shape isn't attractive. More like a torpedo. I agree with changing the shape, but I have until Dec. to see for sure what the results are. My ribcage is 32", so I think I can carry a larger implant. I do have more sideboob than I like. PS said this is the diameter of the implant and going smaller would help that. I looked at the chart and to go a smaller diameter, I would have to go to like 400cc. 2. DO you think I would be happier with the lift and different shape, enough to stay at around 450 to 500cc? Or should I take my PS's conservative advice? A HP looks A LOT different than a moderate round. DH would like this hell to go away and says a C cup would be great. It's just that with my stats, I don't want too small. I will be seeing another PS in the next couple months to get another opinion. What do you think?

![]() | Hi Jeny, I dont have much experience with the lifting issue but I would imagine - they would look younger perkier.... I think 300cc may also be too small... You said yourself you like the size you have just the profile is wrong for you... Then yes I would say change over to mods or mods* and stay within the size you have now! I cannot guarantee you on anything other than I hope that your complications finally come to an end - you have been on a terrible trip with this and deserve to be happy and content! Wishing you the best and good luck with your decision! bebby |

I agree, Bebby. 300cc is too small. I ain't 100lbs here. LOL. Width Projection NOW: High Profile 20-550 550cc 13.5cm 5.6cm LATER?: Mid Profile: 15-371 371cc 12.9cm 4.1cm 15-397 397cc 13.1cm 4.2cm This is as small as I would consider. I still have plenty of time to decide... Will not eliminate option to stay 550cc yet. (:

Have you considered Mentor brand implants since you can get them wider than the other brand? I would not do 300 range as you can handle 400-500 for sure!

IMO I think that if you want smaller boobs than go smaller... A lift helps tighten skin and raise you nipple up so I def think you will have a more improved shape. I am going eventually for a smaller Implant a lift... I am still on the fence with my PS and I really don't like any other local doc It is so hard to put your trust into a new doc when you feel you have been wronged by the first.. I am glad you found a new doc so soon.. |

I think you should take some pics to your doc of what you think is the right size and what you think is too small. Speaking in cup size leaves alot to the imagination and C cup to the doctor doesn't necessarily mean what you think a C cup looks like. HTH

Hi there. I agree with these ladies here. The lift will make you feel higher but not make you feel bigger. But I do think that 300's might be too small. Take pics in to the ps to show him what you want. GL

I think you may find the 300 cc's too small, but then again, maybe you won't because you're starting out with some tissue. You're a B, not an A (big difference). And, you make a great point...there is a good chance that the lift along with 300cc's is what you've been looking for. You're going to be so happy with the lift. Basically, do you want really big boobs? If so, go with more than 300cc's. If you just want perky big boobs, go with 300cc's. JMO.

I agree with some of the other posters - you should decide what you want first (with after photos to show your PS) and then determine the size implant. We have very similar stats - originally I thought I wanted 300 moderate profile until the PS measured me and because of my wider BWD I'll have to go to at least 350cc to get the look I want. That seems huge to me, but probably sounds small to others....all depends on the look YOU like! |

Thanks girls. I'm just starting this process. I will probably go see another PS opinion. I have been burned by one. By reputation and the referral I got to the current PS, relaxes me, but I want enhanced boobs, not just perkier ones. Needless to say my shape isn't great now and my nipple is pointing down. Like there's too much weight on it stretching it down. A lift is a must... I am shocked that my first PS didn't recommend it. I am elated that my second opinon, with being careful not to say I have ugly boobs or what the help was your PS thinking,(more like it)... helped me understand that what we've got just isn't working. I still have time to see changes. It's 10 weeks post-op now, almost 11. I will post a new picture some time today for you to see and tell me what you think. I will take your advice and find picks that I like. I'm just wondering how much different I will look with a 550cc mod-plus, compared to the 550cc HP. I may go a little smaller, but it would only be 450 to 500cc. Thanks! Any links or resources for finding pics of mod-plus, based on stats would be great.

There's no search function for finding who has Mod, Mod+, HP, but you can go to this link and find other members who have had a particular lift: http://www.justbreastimplants.com/fo....php?do=search Also here's a link to a thread where tabby mentioned a link to the mentor site regarding how different profiles look. That's worth a try also. http://www.justbreastimplants.com/fo...tml#post710609 (Help me gals! What size???)
