My nips look different and oh so scarey!

So, it's been 3 weeks since my benneli lift. I need your expert opinions JBI sisters.....such a short time yes, but reassure me that this will not last forever.

It seems as tho one nipple/areola has more tissue than the other? My right one seems more flat and the left seems more puffier. rightie is round while leftie is kinda slanted-she's staring at me asking "wtf?" .....it looks strange.

my actual nipples are the same height-do you think that the difference will fade with healing?? I guess everyone's bodies have slight imperfections. I'm not 20 anymore so I can't expect 20 year old boobs, but man.....

i wore the worst bikini today swimming. It looks like my nipples have cauliflowers on them, they are so puffy and i can actually see the line around them.

my husband is grossed out-i have to continuously make sure that my scarey nips aren't showing at bedtime. my checkup isn't until the 15th so I have to wait to make to see what the doctor says.

I feel things Pop on the inside-maybe internal stitches?

Such upkeep, such a worry these new boobs of mine. But I don't regret a bit of it.....

I just took another glance. leftie is way smaller underneath. the right one is round and big while the other is almost 1/2 inch smaller underneath and squinched looking and not round. will this stay this same way?? I want to cry it looks so different.

All I can think of right now is danm.. what a mean hubby. All the emotions you're going through right now and he is "grossed out." And you have to try your hardest to make HIM happy by keeping them hidden. *humph*

Hi there ~ I am not really sure what is going on but first I want to give you HUGS. I dont remember watching my nips at all during my recovery process but I can tell you that they change. Remember that each boob is its own surgery so they will recover at there own pace. Recover is 6 months to a year. Try to be patient & I think things will get better for you. Your still so early out of surgery. Time is your friend.

Hey there i had a crescent lift on only one side at first it looked really bad the lifted nipple was hugh compared to the other not to say it was numb to top it off. Now at 5 weeks out it looks so much better the size seems to have change as well as the over all look. I am sure with time things will change for the better as time passes.

PS: you can go swimming at 3 weeks i was told to wait 3 to 4 months.

OMG! I have the same thing basically. I am 9 weeks post op - BL (lollypop incision) and 400 cc HP saline placed under the muscle.

My right nipple looks good - flat and only the nipple sticks out. Where as my left one the whole thing seems sort of puffy - including the areola and nipple. It had flattened out some over the last few weeks. I am hoping it will continue to flatten out.

Talk to your PS and give it some time. Good Luck! Tell me what your PS says!

((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))) it's sucha emotional rollercoaster ride for us. I am sorry about your hubby... waittttttttttttttt just wait till they heal you won't be hiding anything!!! I sent you a friends request, I have had my 3rd revision and they all had to do with bottoming out and trying to get my nipples to a normal position. They went thru many changes and pulled into a position they are not used to being in at all for my whole life. So, hey they looked different at different times and were numb the first surgery for 3 months and I thought for sure I had lost all feeling in them and wouldn't return. Well the feeling came back and they in my opinion look great...... try to concentrate on you and how you feel and think right now, can't control or worry about the hubby. He will get over it AND you will look hot........Keep your chin up........
