Depressed after lift and breast augmentation

gurl, I had a full bl/breast augmentation and hated my torpedo boobs after. Wouldn't look in the mirror for months and on top of all of that they both bottomed out. I got a small infection, was spitting stiches left and right, had open wounds for months, only to move on to having to have a revision and was scared to go thru it againnnnnnnnnnn.

I was very sad and depressed. It is real and can happen. We are very emotional creatures and we altered our bodies. I would talk to your doctor..... I was very weepy for months........... again, I hated how my first breast augmentation came out and expected a different look. ((((hugs)))) we are all here for you, but please talk to your doctor as well.

oh babe i feel so sorry for you!! i havent had my breast augmentation/BL yet but i am already feeling a little apprehensive about how ill feel afterwards. I think we hype ourselves up so much for the result to be exactly what we expect it to be and its definately never going to be the case.
As one of the other girls sadi there is NO SHAME in going on meds for a while if thasts what you need. Look at it this way - if your body had an infection you would have no probs going on antibiotics to help your body fight it and get healthy again - its the same with your mind.

Hang in there, it gets better with time. I went through about a week of thinking, What did I do? I'm at 9 months now, breast augmentation/BL (full anchor) and loving them. FR sent.

I know how you feel and it is terrible. I had my BL/breast augmentation in early July and I still am dealing with post op blues or whatever you want to call it. I am not sure why exactly - I do know that I am not happy with my results so I think that plays a part in it.

It is so hard to try and feel better when you don't know why exactly you feel down. I try so hard to put on a brave face but last night I blew up at my hubby. it sucks!
