Question Periareolar Mastopexy after BA

I saw my PS today for my 8 1/2 month follow-up and she suggested I get a lift. I completely agree with her and had asked about it at my last appointment, but she thought my implant might drop some more and fill things up. She mentioned a larger implant, but we both agreed right away that it's not right for me.

Anyway... she said she can do it in the office without anesthesia, using oral medication. She quoted me $800. Does this sound fair? She said no heavy lifting for 4 weeks, so the skin won't stretch.

I haven't booked the procedure yet. I need to talk to my husband first. She only does in office procedures on Fridays and is currently booked in January.

If you had this procedure done in office, what did you spend?

Is that same as a cresent lift?? I have heard about that being done in the office It only just lifts the nipple right... I am LIFT confused these days!!! I looked at your pics and thought no lift but I could see raising the nipple it will give you a beautiful youthfull apperance.

It's actually the same as a donut or Benelli lift. She cuts completely around the areola (and will reduce it) and then pulls up the excess skin. The left need to have a lot more removed than the right. I will post some recent profile pictures. It's very obvious.

I was just doing some research and came across info on Pseudoptosis which I think is what I have. The section Where is the implant placed? has information on it. My nipple position is ok, but I have excess skin.

I was under the same stress at the time of my breast augmentation I needed a lift but we wanted to try and not do one ie: a larger implant so far they look great to me, but he suggested the same lift for me if I decided I wanted it. Sounds like a very good price to me!! Keep me posted

I just had this done friday... it was a redo of my benelli lift... i wasnt charged anything... it was done in office... she gave me valium to relax me and local anethestic... i didnt feel anything, just some slight tugging and we chatted the whole time... i dont think that sounds like a bad price howevere id ask if she is going to numb the area.. oral meds are fine but you would still feel being cut so i would think your PS would do the same as mine... Im3 days post and was given ok to wear any bras and she actually recoomends it... she used disolvable sutures with dermabond over them... HTH!
