Almost 7 weeks post breast augmentation/BL

Hey gals,

Im almost 7 weeks post breast augmentation/BL (lollipop) and I just wanted to let you know that I think I feel a stitch still at the end of the incision line. I have my final postop appointment tomorrow and I am gonna mention this. I know I went to see my PS a few weeks back when he took off the steristrips and they had to cut away 4 stitches that were sticking out but can I be feeling things? It is too hard to be a pimple. If I didnt have an OCD of picking as some might agree, I swear I would go in and dig out that annoying left over stitch. Im gonna post pics soon!!

I think the incisions look good. Definitely talk to you PS about what's bugging you. If you keeping picking it your might infect it. I'm sure they'll know what it is. You lift looks great I had the same with 330's I'm 3 weeks Post-op tomorrow.

I haven't posted any pictures yet, getting them together.

Yep, doc confirmed it was a leftover stitch. He said that it is a common thing and that my body has to work its way out so it may bother me, but not to pick it. He also didnt want to go in a create a hole if he didnt have to but I was told that if it still bothers me in a few weeks to come back and they will remove it. Stubborn stitch. He told me that it should have dissolved.

To All,
I'm 9 mos post breast augmentation/BL. Had some tenderness in my R breast and it was tender to touch felt like pins/needles internally. Itching like crazy three weeks ago. Woke up in the am had like a little blood blister in the scar. I took a pin and popped it, gentle pressure and alot of pus came out. Called my PS and got in to see him the same day. He did the same, applied pressure and out came a stitch and pus. He said it was just a stitch that never dissolved and was festering around, and had formed a pocket of fluid around it. The difference in the feeling is light night and day. No more tenderness or pin/needle feeling. He told me I did the right thing and was not going to hurt anything. As a precaution he did give me a script for Keflex for 5 days. So everyone is different in there recovery. My friend at work was spitting stitches still at the one year mark. Hope this helps you!
