Slightly unever

Hi girls,

Has anyone who has had their BA/BL done and noticed that they are not symetrical?? As some of you had seen in my before and after pics, my left one was very much bigger than my right. As a matter of fact, doc put the larger one on my left just so that it looks symetrical. Well, its been 8 weeks since the surgery and I cant help to notice that my right one is slightly bigger than my left. Doc put 300 on left and 325 on right. How I am noticing this is, whenever I wear a snug shirt, my shirt is pulling to the left. I dont think its swollen anymore and Im not worried about them dropping because I think they have, Im just worried that maybe the doc didnt take enough skin away to make them look completely even. I dont think its leaking since its silicone and I dont want to go back to him to complain but when I had the consultation, I mentioned to him that I wanted symetry.

Let me know if anyone has noticed this.

I am right here with you! I had my BA/BL 8-7-09 (8 weeks ago.) I was always bigger on my left side by quite a bit- my plastic surgeon put 325 in left and 350 in right just to make me look the same on both sides. I really didn't think much about it until they dropped and now I can tell just when looking in the mirror that one is a little bigger than the other. I can also tell when I wear a tight shirt- it seems to tug in that direction. My hubby never even noticed until I told him BUT you pay that much you expect perfect! I was warned that they wouldn't look like a person that was just having a BA since they don't have to take away and rebuild their boobs. Don't get me wrong - I love mine and they are sooooo much better than before. Hang in there - I'm sure they look awesome! Keep us informed!

I am slightly asymmetrical in shape after a BA/BL also, but I don't have different sized implants. I try to be realistic because I had tubular breast deformity before and I think my plastic surgeon did a good job fixing it, but I am a little envious of all the perfectly round boobies here. But like they say, you end up with a bigger version of what you had before, plastic surgeon can't fix all the imperfections (but most of them hopefully!)

It couldn't be leaking if it's silicone, it is probably either slightly swollen or differences in dropping, or it could be that some of the asymmetry from before couldn't completely be corrected 100%. I bet you look great, we are our own worst critics, we stare in the mirror and find imperfections that no one else would notice. I sometimes feel like I am horribly asymmetrical still but people tell me they look good so idk.

Hope you feel better about them soon! If it is bad maybe the plastic surgeon could do a little revision? I know they can do small breast lifts in the office under local anesthesia so if one needed more of a lift maybe that's a possibility?

I just looked at your pics, I didn't realize you had a public album. You look fantastic!!! Not uneven at all! I think I see what you are talking about because you told which side it was and I am looking for it but I would never ever have noticed if you hadn't said anything. It is very, very, VERY minor, to the point of being unnoticable. We are too critical of ourselves.

I called the docs office today and spoke with the nurse. She told me to really see the full effect to wait it out for 6 months. So at least that gave me some reassurance.

what unevenness?

i looked at your pics, and i don't see that you are uneven. you are your own worst critic, and we are clearly ocd about our bodies (given we are having plastic surgery!) i think you look great.
