Advice please. Implant size and incision recommendations?

After having talked to 3 different surgeons im being told 3 different things.


I would therefore like to hear the general concensus of what people think here. Dont hesitate and pitch in. It would really help me.



1. 1 Surgeon will not insert larger than 250cc silicones through armpit incision


2. Another recommended using Crease incision


3. Another said the most he could do via armpit incision would be 350cc silicones.


Now currently im AAA/very small AA(yeah sad) and IDEALLY id like to go to Full Ds.

If I cant get full Ds using armpit incision due to larger incision then what would you recommend as the next best option?


Armpit is so appealing to me as the scars seem to heal really well almost non-existant given some time whereas breast crease incisions seem to be visible.

Im guessing Id need around 450-500cc implants.

that's is what i have and i think, with silicone, its what most PS's opt for since the incision has to be a bit longer than salines.

what is your ribcage? what is your measurement now and how big would you like to go?

i was a very small 36A and with 360cc overs i am now a very full C or a D - even a 34DD with some bras.
like i said before, i have a crease incision and it doesnt bother me at all. its barely visible.

visible only if you know what to look for. they cant be seen wearing a bikini for example and never when wearing a bra. you have to life the breast and actually know where to look.
that said, if you are keen on transax or armpit, its your choice really.

depends on your rib cage and going by the stats you gave, you seem quite small framed.
i weighed 46 kilos - with clothes on - pre BA but i have a wide rib cage - 31 inches. however with larger sizes there may be a greater risk of symmastia.

i got my D cup with 360cc's and i'm sure you will get yours. some ladies here got a D with 275 - 300 cc's.

Hi Sampam!

With your slender frame, if you start off with an aa/aaa-cup, it might be difficult to get a 450-500cc implant in your first augmentation surgery. What are their recommendatons for you to reach a full d? If you have your heart set on the transax incision, I would certainly choose PS no. 3. I guess 350cc should get you to at least a c-cup if your band size is 32. Different individuals heal differently, I got the crease incision and my scars are purply and wide (rather unattractive). That means a band size 34. It's hard to predict as the outcome really depends on your anatomy. With 350cc, I'd venture at least a 34 full b to 34c. One friend of mine went from FLAT to 34 full D with 325ccs. I'd ask for the absolute largest amount that your body can take without risk of getting complications. You can always go larger when your tissues have stretched out after the first ba. Something is better than nothing.

I don't think it's unusual to hear differing opinions from different surgeons. They each have their own way of doing things and know what works best for them. They all want good results for you. That being said, you have to pick the one you're most comfortable with and is closest to giving you what you want. Sounds like #3 to me.

You have to realize that starting out as small as you are, it is very possible you won't be able to go up to a D without having complications. It can take more than one aug. to move up that many sizes, depending on existing skin and how much it and your muscle will stretch. A good PS is not going to give you more than your body can handle.

Hi Sampam, just curious, have you completely ruled out areola incision? I'm Asian too with dark areolas and with my BA my scar was just about invisible. BTW, I wear a 32D went from 32A (saggy deflated ) with 325 cc HP.

technically ribcage works out to 28.5 but i rounded it to 29".


What id like to avoid is having the same procedure again.

I know id be happy with D cups to minimum of full Cs. But Im not sure if 350cc will give me that. I mean going from right down flat to full C? might give me full B.

But if I were adamant about atleast FULL C /small D or FULL D what size implants would you guess might be needed? 450cc? 400cc?

I havent ruled out the aerola method but I havent seen how well they heal on asian women. Armpit incisions seem to heal reallly well.

So I guess maybe in terms of visible scarring 1.armpit 2. aerola 3. breast crease and tuba(belly button) aint an option since implants are too big.

We are very similar in stats but same ribcage... I just asked for the max they could give me without compromising my health... I ended up with 290cc co gel .... technically I am a 34d but a 32dd fits me much more comfortably... I did have to have a crease incision tho he wouldnt do cogel any other way and I had my heart set on co gel... HTH x x

A surgeon mentioned something I hadnt even thought about!


He said that the final cup boob size/shape is dependant on
1. Implant size in ccs
2. Implant profile


And he was more like thinking to himself i think afterthat point but said

since im 28.5ribcage otherwise 29" 162cm 43kg and 23yrs old with non existant chest that If I DID indeed get 350cc implants if I went Mod + I might end up with a full C but the implants are a little narrower than standard meds and higher profiles might give me a full D(might).

He thought that people with no chests shouldnt get low profile and at very least med (standard option most boobs are done on) but if I went mod + or HP that extra projection would give me something from full C to full D.


But what would it look like on someone like me? Mod + or HP ?

Opinions please this is all so confusing. Now I have to think about not only incision placement but also implant size and add to it profile type.

Since all the surgeons are saying my implants would be completely under the muscle and ive got a flat chest with nipples on it what profiles should I choose?
