Question E,F,& G cup... those exist???

6 days till the "big day" and I've been on JBI more than ever looking at everyone's pics, their pre-op and post-op sizes and I'm still trying to figure out what size I want to be. I've noticed lately that there are a lot of women with E,F,G & beyond cup sizes, I literally did not know this was that common.

I already wear a 34C/36B in VS but we all know Victoria's secret is to make you think your bigger than you are lol. When I first really began looking into implants I had D cup stuck in my head as what I wanted and then when I started seeing how many cc's I was looking into and did the sizers in the PS office and the rice sizers, I realized what I think of as a D cup may actually be a DD cup, which is fine because I'm trying to focus on what look I want instead of the actual cup size. But after being a loyal VS customer for years, they always talk about your "sister size", like my 34C and a 36B are my sister sizes.

So finally to my question, when someone posts that they wear a 30F bra size, is that really like a sister size to a 36DD or a 38D? Because with what I understand, or maybe misunderstand, is that you add 2 inches to the band for every cup size you go smaller so to go from a F to a D which is 4 cup sizes difference you would add 8 inches and it would still be the same size... right??? And if this is the case why would someone not just say a 38D instead of an F, because I think of a size F of like the size of a basketball or cantaloupes or like those weird women on the show manswers that crush cans with their gianormous ridiculously big melons for tatties.

These women that have E,F,G,H cup sizes don't look near that large, some I'll look at a pic and say theres no way they are larger than a C cup! Also how is it possible for someone's band width to not change after implants? If your adding in a huge implant wouldn't that make a normally 34 band girl go at least to a 36 if not 38?

And ladies with these large cup sizes, can you wear things from VS since they obviously don't have E,F,G cups? I would absolutely die if I couldn't wear their bras anymore, I've worked dang hard to get to my VIP angel status So I hope I am making sense to someone/anyone because I know I'm very confused and tend to ramble on and on

I'm a 30GG at least (30G was biggest they had when I was trying them on and was way too small in the cups, but being only 4 weeks post-op I haven't gone to any stores to find anything bigger yet since I'm not buying yet) and I come nowhere NEAR being able to fit into ANY of VS's bras or bathing suits. Now yes, a 30 band size means I don't look like a GG cup sounds. It's the sister size to a 34FF, 36F. I was actually wearing a 34B pre-op but should have been wearing a 30D I now know. (VS is horrible at getting a true accurate fit even if it seems like it's bang on, better off at Nordstrom's or Intimacy Boutique and you'll see the major difference in a real true fitting bra.) But either way, no the girls never look as big as the cup size sounds!!

No your band size will not increase.
I am a 32g so obviously VS is out of the question for me but if I bought a 36DD and altered the band I could make it work but its not worth it. I am not too upset, I would much rather have big boobs. Also implants look smaller than real boobs so keep that in mind too

Oh yes like silly says, no the band size doesn't increase. The band is just around your rib cage, your boobs are fully in the cups and don't affect the band size. Some girls say at first until their swelling went down they had to go up a band size, but went back down after the swelling went away. And also like she said, if you could possibly find one that works in the cups you could have the band altered to fit you. And yet again as she says, fake boobies look smaller than real boobies for some reason!

When sister sizes are mentioned, it is basically the volume in the cup is the same and the band size changes (ie around the rib cage).

So...I am a 32G (LOL!).. If I tried on a 34DDD/F the cup would be the same size but I would have to do the bra up on the smallest set of hooks...If I tried on a 36DD/E the cup should fit but I would have to possibly pin the centre gore or space together and tie the band up in a big bow at the back to get it to close. If I tried on a 38D the cup should fit but I could use the bra as a hula hoop because of the size of the band..kapish..?

And yes, weird about what we look and what we measure.

Band size should never change just the cup. When you have a BA the implant fills out your whole breast and is compact...no sag and no excess skin like a natural breast. This why you can fill a larger cup but not necessarily look that size.I fill a 28G in brands that do not add inches and a 32E in brands that do add on inches. If I put both bras side by side though the band length is the same. The problem is bra sizes are not standardised so it can be a bit hit and miss and you just need to try them on.I could not wear a band bigger than a 32 so the sister size thing doesn't work with everyone....if I tried to wear a 36C it would fall off me and the cup would not cover my whole breast.I look a DD which is what I asked to look,I didn't ask to be a cup size as that doesn't work with implants because they do look smaller than natural boobs. If I had asked to be a D cup I would look a C and I didn't want that.HTH.

Like the other ladies mentioned, band size does not change with BA. The implants add volume to your cups, not around your ribcage. So the only thing that should change is your cup size.

The cups are the same in their sister sizes. For example, I am a 32DD at VS. My breasts can fit into the cups of a 34D. However, I cannot wear a 34D because the 34 band is too big and rides up my back. A 32 band fits around my ribcage perfectly and stays in place. So my true size at VS is 32DD. A sister size to 32DD is also 36C, but only the cup is the same in both bra sizes, but I cannot wear 36C because 36 band is too big. That is why sister sizes do not work for everyone.

Okay thanks you guys, that makes a whole lot more sense. But last night I was on a site just for fun looking at celebrity bra sizes trying to get an idea of what look i want to go for and they said Pamela Anderson is only a 34 DD, now I'm obviously not very good at guessing sizes but there is no way in hell she is only a DD. And if she's a DD and I'm wanting to go full D borderline DD then I'm definitely gonna be rethinking cc's come surgery day. There is no way I could go into the profession I want to be in with knockers that large. There were a few more women on there that I was surprised to see they only wore c's but most of them had real breasts, like Jessica Simpson they said was a C/D cup (yea right). But apparently real breasts are way different size wise than implants. I wonder if celebrities lie about their sizes to make it seem like a more flattering, or accepted cup size. It's so funny bc the opposite appears true on this website most women would much rather be labeled a 30G/F than a boring old 34D cup lol
