The Under 300 cc Club :-)

That's interesting re sizes. I'm 5'6"ish, about 110lbs with 28" ribs. Currently 32aa/aaa with s little breast tissue (breastfed twice).
I want to be a b cup.
Thinking of getting 210 or 240ccs. 240 always looks ridiculously huge on me in the PS office but on this site everyone always encourages you to go bigger. A bit confused to be honest.

We have similar stats...and I started with 32A. I had 280cc unders and now I'm a 32C/D. Even though I'm able to fit in a 32 D bra...I'd say that I don't look like I'm a D. Besides, with our heights, a Full C will not look too big...in fact, it will give your a nice curvy figure...

I used to be worried about being too big...and worried that others will realize that I had a breast augmentation...as it turns out, nobody really realized what I did...and my friends and family just assumed that I had a great push up bra... haha!

ok...im definitly in the club...talked to my ps on the phone...told him i might want to go bigger than 275cc...he told me that its is such a small difference between 275 and 300...but still he recommands 275cc but he will fill it to 285...wich is basicly insignificant!! he remembered me that i am thin, no breast tissu...that if i wanna go bigger the illusion of a perfectly natural breast will be lost...

so 285 is a good deal taken...i know for some people it is really small...but i think it is perfect for me...in a way...i even like myself right now...im sure they will be pretty and adorable...

That's really interesting to know. A couple of smaller forum members say they acually felt they went a bit too big.
C/D sounds HUGE to me but then I barely fill a 32aa bra! I think I'll aim for a good-size B. The PS says I couldn't go biggetr than 245 and look naturasl. I have a very slight frame, quite 'ribby'.

Crevette and tonton: I think that the amounts you're thinking about will definitely give you the results you want. I still feel a little big with 300cc... hopefully this feeling will go away with time, after they drop and start to look more natural. I think that in clothes I'll look fine, but I know I'm going to be a little self conscious in a bathing suit.

Another thing that my PS said was that since I'm so thin, in the next 10 years I might fill out some (I'm 29) and that a slightly larger size would look very natural. This is why I decided to go with the 270s f/t 300. I guess it's good that he's thinking in the long term, but I don't want to have to gain 15 lbs (or 6.5 kgs for you brits/canadians ) for my boobs to blend in with the rest of my body. Oh well.

I would suggest to go with the biggest they'll let you have, your friend is right, you might regret it. Im 5 months post op and im finally liking the way my boobs look. At first i wanted natural as possible, then after i got them done i wanted the fake look...........now im really happy with my size. Im a little smaller than you so i would recommend the bigger impants.

thanks thanh...actually my ps doesn't really want me to go bigger...he says that he often refuse when he thinks it is too big for the women"s anatomy...

but when i see your breast in your avatar...i think it is perfect!! they look great!!

i'll go for the max my ps suggests: 285cc...all my trust in him...

if i have booby greed...i'll try to rationalize myself !! but definetly...i like the natural look...

I posted in this in the newbies introduction forum. But this particular forum has been such a help to me I thought I'd post my intro here as well.

I joined JI.com back in June or July and I think I've been reading the forum almost everyday since. I had my breast augmentation in August and I've received so much info, advice and support from this forum. So far everything has been going very well and I'm so happy with the results of my surgery. I've never posted a message on any forum before...ever , but I decided I should come out of hiding and say hi and say thanks to everyone who's contributed to this site.

Btw...I ended up with 270cc unders and I love them!

I think you'll be happy with your decision. My stats are similar to yours. Before my surgery, I kept changing my mind between 300 and 270cc. I figured that I'd regret being too big more than being a little small, so I decided on 270cc. I'm so happy with my decision although I probably would have been fine with 300cc, too. So far I'm a full B, small C. I may end up a little bigger once I fluff. Sometimes I think they look big--definitely no boobie greed so far. I can easily dress them down. When I dress them up I definitely get looks, but I've been able to keep it a secret from people which is what I wanted.

I have been thinking about breast augmentation surgery for the past 4 years now, have consulted with 3 different PS and done extensive research regarding the procedure. Finally, I’ve mustered enough courage to book my op date … but with only 10 days to go, I am still so unsure on cc’s !!!

Because of my size and frame, my PS has recommended that I go with either the 275cc or 300cc implants (but def. not bigger than 300cc). I’m currently a 32AA and hoping to end up full B / small C and if the calculation of 150cc = 1 cup size is correct, then a 300cc implant should be perfect. However, after reading so many posts on JB, I now can’t help but wonder if it might be too big ?

I am 5’1” and weigh 97lbs and have (so far) decided on silicone textured high profile implants, placed partially sub-muscular and through a crease incision.

I do understand that breast augmentation is a bit of a “lucky packet” procedure - whereby you don’t know exactly how it’s going to turn out until it’s done … but I desperately don’t want to end up all boobs. Please help.

Welcome, and may I suggest you introduce yourself to the forum in the 'newbies' section..

I would advise doing the rice test...you're right..you can't predict the size you will end up...but I have 290s HP cogel and really, it's a nice size..you can easily (and I mean easily ) either dress them up to look bigger, or dress them down to look smaller...the choice is yours !

If it were put to forum vote "I vote you get 300cc !"

What you probably already know but it had to sink in with me, is that the implants lose some volume when they're implanted, especially under the muscle. I read on here it would amount to about 15%. I was thinking about 300's myself, and my PS said go bigger. So did everyone else that replied to my post. I now plan on 325cc's saline unders filled to 340cc's or 350cc's. Of course, I'm a bigger person than you - 5'8" and 130lbs, so I can carry a little more. But, with 350cc's, losing 15% would end up with the appearance of 300cc's in the sizers. That's what I've gathered so far, hth.

Look, there's conflicting advice on that issue too (again you say ?)Some members (Nikki included) have been told by their ps that nothing is lost by being under the muscle...which kinda makes sense really...an implant is an implant, wherever it is...early post op though, they may appear smaller, because the muscles will be tight and may constrict the implant somewhat...but as time goes on and they 'drop and fluff' (drop and soften and free up) they will look just like any other placement HTH x
