My question is: how long did it take for your breasts to "drop"?

I started out as a 33AA. My plastic surgeon gave me Mentor Silicone 275cc, moderate profile plus (I have a narrow chest) on both sides. Before surgery, I liked the way I looked with 250cc in a sports bra, and I knew she would have to go slightly bigger since they were placed under the muscle. I said anything 300cc or above was out of the question.

However, I feel enormous. My husband won't even look at them. I have that fake roundness that I distinctly told my PS I did not want. I wanted a busty B. I told my PS if I am a small C in some bras so be it. (She says Victoria's Secret bras run small so I should expect to be a C.) I think I'm a 34C now for sure no matter what the bra -- definitely not a B, but I know I'm still swollen. I wish she had gone with moderate profile now even though in her office they seemed sooo flat.

I am fairly petite (5'2", 115lbs, athletic body, 33-26-24 before surgery), and as a former dancer and marathon runner, I guess I just don't know what to do with my new girls. The main reason I wanted to go slightly bigger was to fit into clothes. A 2P wasn't fitting me on top (I swear manufacturers make clothes bigger now because I'm not the tiniest person in the world), and I always hated wearing padded bras. (Sometimes a padded bra didn't even make a difference.) I couldn't even fill out an XS or 0 in most cases.

I won't even post my picture because I am embarrassed by the size.
I guess I want someone to tell me eventually I will look normal.

I think you're pretty close out, so give yourself a little time. You'll get more used to them. Even with all the probs I've had, I love them and don't want to be without them ever! LOL

My dr. finally got back to me and said well lemmie cut and paste.. he emailed "Underwire bras have a tendency to push the implants up, and may cause denser scar tissue to form along the bottom of the capsule, KEEPING them up there. If you like a particular underwire bra, (nurse's name) suggests to just make a small slit near the end of the wire and pull it out!" Soo not really a "No" but not yes either lol
Yes I've noticed some underwires are underwires but don't seem quite so dependent on the wires for support with the surrounding fabric depending on how its made. I think I'm just going to go for it with those if it gives me the look I want and just try to take breaks in the wireless when I'm just bumming around at home or whatever.

I have 280cc co-gel overs. I wasn't happy with them at first because they looked so small; I felt I paid so much $ for nothing. But they've softened a lot and dropped. Now I love 'em!

I'm a member of the club, too! I got 300 gel overs 19 days ago, and I am still watching them change. They're both dropping now, thank goodness, because it looks funny when one is dropping and the other still looks stiff. I go through the emotions every single day with these. I love them, but I do sometimes wish my ps would have gone bigger. I wanted 350 but he said my body could only FIT the 300's. In fact, I have stayed off of the forum for many days because it was making me depressed that I don't have bigger boobs! I do love my boobs and I think they look very natural, which is very sexy! I'm glad they are natural looking and it's okay that I'm not HUGE. My husband loves the fact that they don't look huge when I'm wearing clothes, but that they are perfect when I'm NOT! :-)

I wanted NATURAL... I had an 34A+ according to my ps, but I wanted more roundness and fullness at the bottom. I am 2 weeks post op, and already look natural. I couldn't be happier with my result. They look good now, I can't wait until they D&F!

I had my BA 07/15/08, 270ccs f/t 300 LEFT 270ccs RIGHT saline under. Ribcage 27" 5'7" 101lbs was a 32A currently fit into 32D (dont feel like it thou) I dont weigh much but I dont look nasty thin lol. Thats the largest size my PS could fit. However I am not happy. I want to go bigger!! He told me I need to wait atleast 9months (settle more, skin can stretch more). On my next follow up I will bring it up again and see how much it will cost me. I want to do 400ccs. I like how my boobs like w/ the F.O.H extreme cleavage bra. Thats the size I want to be w.out the damn padding. Thats why I had my BA so I wouldnt have to wear padded bras but I find myself uncomfortable w.out a padded bra. =(

I am 5'3 107 lbs. I thought i'd ask my questions hear to see if i'd get some different feedback.. I understand go big or go home for most girls but i have conerns regarding going big and going home !!

I live at home, with family that isnt supportive and has no idea of my ba in 2 weeks. i am a 34a- and want a med. full c- I have shapely legs and broadish shoulders with a sort of athletic body so i can carry some weight in the boob area. well i am assuiming i can. Anyways, i am left with a tough choice of 350 or 375cc. I am going to say 350cc for sure over 375cc but now am thinking maybe i should go 300cc , 325cc...

I know its just a cup size, but i've also bought a wedding dress already.. the bust size will measure 34inch's around i'm 31inchs right now.. i dont want to not fit my dress... and i also dont want to shock ppl walking down the isle and start a lot of gossip in the family..

Help ladies.. your views on bigger is not always better are greatly appreciated.... i like the fuller look but also think the smaller look is just as sexy.. i just want anything.. sick of having gaping baggy bras size a and gappey baggy xs shirts!

Maybe you should try your wedding dress on with rice testers to see what looks best? It's so hard to tell what cup size you're going to end up at. If you have an athletic build it will probably take more cc's to get you to where you want. I think 350cc sounds like it will look beautiful!

Do what makes you happy. Again I thought my cousin was crazy for telling me to go as big as I could since I just wanted something natural not too big. But I now find myself unhappy and wanting to go bigger. Boobs are insane!!! lol good luck w/ ur choice!

Hi, I'd like to join the club! It feels so good reading about gals who went for the "small" i.e. natural look.

I had 275cc silicone mod+ round smooth under through aerola on 9/9/08 (2 weeks ago). My surgeon decided on the size given I wanted a full B cup. When I woke up I was very surprised the implant were that big. I expected I only needed 200 or at very most 225cc. I was a 32AA before and my ribcage is 28". I have a very small bone structure at 5' 4" and 100lbs... Quite franckly I don't know whether I am happy. When I wear clothes and no bra (surgeon says no bra for as long as possible), they look OK, not out of proportion for my body. However, when I look at them naked, they look waaaaay too big and large and round and balloony. The nipples have doubled in size are puffy and are no longer looking up. They look straight out... Nothing looks natural about them!!! I read on this forum that they will change and drop and fluff (whatever fluffing means) so I have no choice but to wait and see... but it's sad that I have to avoid looking at them as they scare and depress me... I would be totally embarassed if I had to undress in front of a man right now...

Did anyone else get depressed and feared their "small" implants looked completely unnatural? I feel like I am the anomaly... How long should I wait until I panic?

Hi – don’t panic!! I am almost 5 weeks out and believe me they keep improving and getting more natural looking. At my 4 week follow up my PS said they were still a bit swollen (even that far out!) and from everything I’ve read as well as what my PS has said it can take up to a year for things to completely settle into place, though by 3 months they should be looking a lot more natural unclothed. It sounds like you are like me, with tight/thin skin that doesn’t camouflage the implant much. When you drop, your nips should wind up similar to how they were prior.

Just give yourself some time to heal!
