thanks everyone, you made me feel much better! I was also wondering did you find anything that helped with your scars? I am getting a crease incision because thats what my PS said would work best but i tend to get these ugly bumpy scars whenever i get cut.
Any advice?

I asked my PS at my 10 day post-op appointment if he recommends anything for scars (I had crease incision) and he gave me Scar Fade scar gel. It's silicone based and I massage it into the scars twice a day.

You can buy over-the-counter scar gels if your PS doesn't rec a particular one. Palmer's do a silicone based scar gel with Vitamin E which is meant to be pretty good.

Hi, I have 240 HP Round overs, I was a C/D before op, and am now an E, anyway, just wandering what bra are you wearing in your photo? I cant find one that give me the rounded look, which you appear to have in your pic.

Also you say that post op you are a 32DD/F, what bras are you trying?

hey! this is my first message im writing ever! yay! hahah im new to this site and sooo excited because im getting my boobs done on the 15th of January 2007!!!! I'm all for the under 300cc club, because i am getting 280cc and cant wait. i am just a little worried because i only want nice ones to suit my body because im a very tiny frame even though im 5ft10, and i do modelling and anything bigger i would be limited with my work. But my boyfreind on the other had is saying to me, no get them bigger! and he is saying there is no point in getting them small when i can get them big!! a little confused, need some words of reassurance i guess!!! :s

Hi, welcome to the forum!

What's your weight and rib cage measurement? Don't cave into pressure from your boy to get them larger - going too large is likely to limit your career modelling wise. I believe about a full B is preferrable. But at the end of the day, get the size you most want. Your boy will love them all the same, trust me!

If you're very slender and only want breasts to suit your body I think 280cc will look lovely on you! I got 300 and they're not too big at all (my stats are on my sig). You're tall too which makes it easier to carry off size.

Just got bandages off today and love how they look, don't want them to shrink.

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

First of all, what are your stats? Did you go over or under the muscle? What size did you start with, and what size do you want to be? What did your PS say about size? There are so many factors that determine your size in the end!

If you've only just got the bandages off you have sooo many changes to go through yet so there's no point in judging the size so soon. The implants themselves won't shrink but you may notice they appear a little bit smaller as the swelling subsides. But then you may gain size dropping and fluffing, and changes can happen up to one year post-op! How far post-op are you now?

I am 5'2, 115 lbs. was a 34B. I am three days out, surgery on Monday. I had mine under the muscle. What is all this talk about fluffing, what does that mean? My PS has not mentioned that at all. He did say that the swelling between them would go down. How much do they normally drop? Thanks for the advice.

I was supposed to get a breast augmentation on November 29th last month, but then the ps cancelled it himself...........i couldn't really believe it myself at first!........just want to make the long story short-probably he felt that i didn't trust him that much about the use of anatomicals in my case....Lately I attended another ps and do feel that i have much more confidence with him. I am going for round textured Cogels unders and the volume is ~230 to 250 ml. I tried on the 250 sizers and i do feel that i have huge breasts!
I do have flat chest like yours...........yes, i'm flat as a board too when i lay on my back!

Since you were a B cup to start with you should be able to tell when you've done most of your dropping by when your breasts return to the position they roughly were before your breast augmentation. They should have settled back into the crease. With unders, you may be quite high at the moment since you're only three days out. Dropping just means the muscles relaxing and allowing the implant to fall into place. It can take anywhere from a few weeks to many months to drop completely. Three days out from surgery is nothing - what you see now will be no where near how you end up!

Fluffing happens after dropping and is basically the implant "filling out". You may find you gain size at this stage, and your breasts feel more natural and "jiggly". They'll fill bras out, instead of just sitting in them. Again, this often takes many months! Fluffing isn't a technical term, which is probably why your PS didn't mention it. Mine didn't, he just said I'd have to wait 3 - 6 months for something approaching my final result.

As for size, you're very small and started with a B cup, so I'll be surprised if you're any smaller than a full C cup when you're done dropping and fluffing. If you ever feel small, just look at your pre-op photos - they'll instantly make you feel very busty!

It's a good idea to take progression photos so that you can look back on them, you'll be surprised at all the changes you'll see! We look at them so often in the days/weeks following surgery that it becomes difficult to spot changes, so this is where photos come in handy.

i guess i will be a member soon of the under 300s club....im having my breast augmentation done on 11th January in dublin, ireland. I did go to see a few different consultants before i decided on the one i have...2 that i did see suggested either 260- 280 and the one i have decided on didnt commit to a particular cc as he said he has a filler and on the morning of the op when im out he will fill them with water and see what suits best...i did tell him that i wanted a very natural look so he told me to bring a B size bra with me..i imagine he will probably give me around a 260-280...cant wait

Well..here's to you joining the under 300cc club ! You may be surprised at what size you end up ! I had 290 overs, and didnt fill an A, now im C/D, so anything can happen ! and dont panic if they feel to big to start, you will soon feel like you've had them all your life, well adult life

thanks for that..we are similar stats..im 120lbs and around 5 4 although sometimes the ol weight can go up or down a few pounds depending on the week..im really glad that i found this site as there are also 2 other ladies on from Dublin, scoobs and angieosh..my head was all over the place before i found this website but it has answered so many questions for me and gave me the push i needed to go and do it..its booked and all for jan 11th so im really looking forward to it.

im really hoping he decides to go on the bigger side..ill have to have a word with him on the morning...thanks for all the info

yeah, def try and get the bigger...i was offered 270 - 290, and really thought 270 was the choice ( its funny but i promoted the fact i wanted implants to give me a bra size, and thats the truth, but after i got them, i loved the fact i had biggish boobs!) but luckily i chose the 290...i was gonna ask if you were from Ireland, just read ur post about hubby going to town for you, sounded like an Irish town...cant help you with hubby, me and mine never go out alone, so I wouldnt know the answer ! anyway, back to business,, good luck , im sure you'll make the right decision....

oh yeah, so weird about the weight going up and down aint it ? mine does that too....and it makes a huge difference too, you can really tell when ive lost a couple pounds !

Are you getting overs or unders? I got 330cc so that would be my choice. It seems to be a common size. You could be by 330cc bobbie sister.

I know the generel consensus on the forum is that bigger is better (to avoid boobie greed), and it's definitely something to consider but... I wouldn't have wanted to go any bigger at all. I'm 4 and a half weeks post op and my gosh, these things just keep getting bigger! (I guess I must be fluffing already? They've been getting progressively bigger and fuller, especially in the last week or so.)

Most of the time I love the size, but every now and again I think maybe I should've gone smaller. I know I'd be happy with as little as 225cc, but certainly no more than 300.

You should ask yourself if you'd be more upset about being too big or too small. Also, 30cc isn't that much of a difference so if you think you might be susceptible to boobie greed then maybe the 330 is the way to go.

So basically, that was a long-winded way of answering your questions: yes, I'm happy with my 300cc, and no, I really don't wish I got more!

Im gonna be completely honest with you here....the max i could have was 290...so i nearly bit his hand off ! I was naive, and if he had offered me 500 i wouldve taken it...Im very happy now with my size...but thats not to say I always have...im 3.5 months post op now, and yes, booby greed grabs most of us...you have to go thru the period of readjusting, and its amazing how soon you get used to them, so thats where the booby greed sets in...if you have a limit from ur ps, its always best IMO to go to the biggest, that way there is no regrets...every day now, Im happy with my sized boobs, so I guess Im at the end of my journey regarding booby greed...but, when the day comes to have a redo, Im sure i will go a little bigger...and I still trust my ps, he chose this size for a natural look, and thats what i got...good luck x
