![]() | 800cc Mods+
I just wanted to know from ladies out there that have Mods+, did the upper pole fullness drop after the implants settled? I'm a little over a week post op and have upper pole fullness. I'm just wondering if it will stay this way or if the implants will drop all over like the Mods... I don't know if my question is clear... Also, is there usually a lot of swelling after a redo? I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to lose size once the implants drop and fluff... I love the look now and I'm concerned it will change (as it did with my first breast augmentation)... Incredibly, the 800cc are not that big on me... I understand what Cara was saying when she said that more cc just gives more fullness. My sister expected that I would look like Dolly Parton, but she was surprised to see that the difference in size (from 450 cc Mods to 800 cc Mods+) isn't that much... I'm just more rounded and full. Anyone who can share their experience? Thanks a lot!

I have high profiles, and they dropped and softened a lot, (they were SO high, square, and hideous at first), but it did take some time. It would be unusual for them to stay up really high.

I have Mod+ and yes, I did lose some of the upper pole fullness after I dropped. I don't know if it is any different with a re-do though. I know you are going to look fantastic. Post pics if you can, would love to see the difference. Happy healing!!!!

I have 600cc's Mod+ & I don't have any upper pole fullness anymore... I remember it didn't start disappearing until 4 weeks or so. HTH

I have mod+ but only 350 cc's on the left and 420 on the right. Mine did drop down a lot, and I have a little upper pole fullness, but not much. I know mod+ are supposed to give more upper fullness than the mods, but I didn't get too much. That's fine by me, though!

slecompte: Mine is 33 inches as well... I thought originally it was 36 inches, but that is my bra band (I'm suppose to take 34" bra, but was buying 36" for years before being measured properly by professionals!)... Again, even thought we are the same height and weight, the body shape also makes a big difference... I have broad shoulders, little hips and no butt (darn) with a shorter torso and looooong legs so my bigger implants don't look that "big" on me... I think if you have a longer torso, smaller shoulders, etc., 800 cc may be too much... I was thinking that mine right now are not big, but I took a photo and they look huge on the photo. I will get my husband to take a better photo that I will post as the one I took isn't very clear and the angle isn't good... Also what I think is small you may think is big! We all have different perceptions... I'm very happy with my choice in size. The 450 cc, although very natural looking, were too small for me. Amazingly enough, the 350 cc difference is not that huge! Just more of a rounded and fuller look. I just hope they don't go "down" like they did last time... They did drop, but are still rounded right now... I hope they stay the same! My PS is in the opinion that it will stay fuller on top, but that they will drop more... Also, I wonder if the higher the cc, the more upper pole fullness there is with Mods+? Thanks for all your posts!!! |

I have mod+ and while I have a little bit of upper pole fullness, I do not have nearly what i had early on. So, yeah, I guess that all implants drop that way. I like it though..it looks totally natural.

slecompte, I forgot to mention that I asked my PS after surgery if he had a hard time putting the implants in (as my skin was SO tight and the implants felt they were bursting out). My PS mentioned that it was "a little tight", but he was able to get them in. Originally, my PS's secretary told me that my PS overfills the implants by 10% which would have meant that they would have been filled to 825 cc (I got 750 cc), but he 'only' overfilled them to 800 cc. I'm wondering if it is because there wasn't enough space there?... Anyways, if I remember I will ask him when I see him later this week when I get the stitches removed. When I checked my new implant dimensions, the diameter was a minimum of 15.1 cms to a maximum of 15.6 cms (I'm going from memory so my numbers may be slightly off...). The diameter of my 450 cc was about 14.2 cms (if I remember correctly), so that may be a reason why it was "a little tight" in there... I think even if I wanted bigger, there is no way the implants would have fit (as far as I can see)... Originally I had told my PS that I wanted the 800 cc implants which would have meant that I would have gotten over 850 cc after overfilling them, but he told me that the 750 cc would be enough. I suspect that he would not have been able to put in anything bigger than what I have now... It's always good to get opinions from different doctors! You are doing the right thing! I hope you are able to get the size you want. I'm sure you already know that if the PSs all say the same as far as size that there is obviously a reason (or even if MOST of them say the same as far as size)... You certainly would not want complications (like systamia... not spelled correctly... oops...)! Anyways, let me know what you decide! Good luck! I hope you get the size you wish for! |

Thank you so much for this post girl..I appreciate it. I have a consult with a second surgeon soon so I'm interested to see what comes of it. I'll definitely keep you posted. Those dimensions sound right on. I'll see what the other PS say, can't wait! Do you feel they're that much bigger from before? Thanks so much for everything! | |

Vettegirl: I checked your profile and you are an inch taller than me, but much thinner by 20 pounds. I find yours look much bigger than mine probably because you are smaller than I am. You look great! Are yours Mods+? Slecompte: Strangely enough, when I wear clothes, they do not seem bigger than before although I haven't worn anything revealing or tight lately. I tried on my bikini tops and boy, what a difference! First off, they looked very round and my bikini top did not cover them as much as it did before I got them (I need new tops!). I think anyone looking at them now (in a bikini top) would know they are not mine. I went to work today and although I wore a vest, no one seemed to notice (thank goodness!)... When I look at my before and after photos, there is a big difference, but in clothes, it doesn't seem as much. I'm sure my "wonderful" compression bra doesn't help matters. I know that with a proper underwire bra, they would appear bigger. The implants look like I'm wearing a push up bra although I only have my compression bra. I guess that is where I notice the difference... And they are very rounded right now. I have a lot of upper pole fullness. My chest and neck area are defined (no fat, quite slim) so my breasts look like they are not mine because they are so full and rounded. No one that has a fit and slender neck and chest would have breasts my size... Ah well... It doesn't bother me right now... I'm glad I could help! Let me know what happens! |
