Im happy I didn't go any bigger!

Im a "D"! I dont fit into any of my old shirts. Im so sad. I feel like they are huge. I do love them and they are very pretty. I secretly wanted to be D but only expected a full C. I went and tried on bras yesterday. I took a few C's and one D into the dressing room. I tried the first C and it didnt fit. I grabbed the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. None of them fit. So I took down the D(I heard that scary JAWS music in my head). I thought there is no way. This thing looks huge. I put it on and it fit! By the VS website chart, I measure a DD. I don't believe that though. I dont know if I should be happy or sad. I could hardly find any 34D's (especially w/out underwires). Some lines only went up to cup size c. I do think I look nice. Im upset though that none of my shirts fit and I dont have a ton of money to go buy all new shirts. I dont know how to feel about this. Did this happen to anyone else?

Hi Lea. im really sorry that you feel that way about your size. Im only 4 weeks post op and It is very strange to all of a sudden have boobs and a lot of my clothes no longer fit me. Then again Im more than happy to squeeze my new babies into tops because I just love how they look in a tight top now! lol

I only got measured the other day and I also am bigger than i expected but to be honest I got a bit of the boobie greed so I was ovet the moon with my size. I hope you feel better about your size soon.

You should hold your old bra against you, thats what I did and It wasnt long and making me see Id done the right thing.

I ended up larger than planned. I'm a 36DD!! I hoped to stay in the D range. I think they look HUGE when I'm naked. They really only look like Ds when I'm clothed. Every bra shop I've been to pegs me as a D initially, but when I show them how a D fits they always say, "Oh honey you need a double d."

I'm trying not to focus on the cup size so much because I like the way they look when I'm clothed. I'm terrified of going swimming with my husband's family next year because in a swim suit they are going to look ginormous. My husband's dad can't look at me as it is. I can't imagine his horror when he sees these things in a swim suit!!!

As far as my clothes not fitting. I haven't run into a problem yet. I don't wear a lot of button down stuff though. I've heard that is where women run into trouble with things not fitting. I'm getting used to wearing things more form fitting, but I don't look like I'm busting out of it.

I'm sure you will get used to the size soon. Hang in there.

Lol maybe thats what I need. I just need to get used to squeezing them into tops. Maybe im just not comfortable with all this yet. I have held my old bra up to me. Those things look tiny!! When I went shopping all the sizes except larger than a D looked very small to me when I held them up to me. I remember pre breast augmentation thinking a C was huge. I hope I get used to this. Im sure I will because I really love them. I guess it just takes time to become comfortable with yourself after such a dramatic change. Thanks

I dont have many button up shirts so that is not a problem for me. In most of my shirts I look like im busting out of them. I guess im going to have to break out the credit card for new shirts. Maybe that will make me feel better.
Good luck on going swimming with the inlaws. Your father in law wasnt happy about your breast augmentation I take it. My parents dont even know yet and I am going to visit them for Christmas! My fiance tells me they are going to notice. I say they wont but I think im in denial. I dont think I can even hide them in a loose fitting shirt. I guess If they ask I will tell. Otherwise, I wont say anything. I might go buy a couple shirts today and see how I feel

When he found out his comment was, "I really didn't need to know that." MIL was worried with everyone else knowing if he found out last he'd be upset he wasn't told. Well now he is upset that he was told. See FIL is a boob man it seems and now he is afraid to look at me. My husband said I was being stupid. At our last visit with him my husband walked out of the house cracking up. He said, "You were totally right. My dad won't even look at you when he talks to you."

I find it all rather funny myself.

i was freaking out at first with all the swelling etc.. that i would be too big and look like a cartoon with only 300ccs.... now the swelling is gone, and im used to them and i feel sooooo small. I wish i went bigger. Im a 10D but look like a c or even sometimes a B in clothes.... i wish i had tried on the bigger sizers just for the hell of it and gone bigger... ahh welll..... at least i cant still pass them off as natural.....

It is kind of funny. Although, I would be a little freaked out if my FIL was checking me out. Maybe its a good thing he wont look at you. lol

I just read your post and burst out in laughter. I'm going to have the same prob with my inlaws when I have mine done as they have a pool and we swim there all the time. I'll be a bit embarassed at first but I don't think as embarassed as my father inlaw HA HA.

After 3-4 mos post op I was able to fit into small tops I could not fit 30 days post op! Don't throw away ur tops!!!!!! Trust me the girls will look smaller @ 8wks post-op.

Yes I felt the same as you do kind of. Naked I still feel like they lookk so big on me but they are very good looking and my bf loves them. In clothes though, no one would even be able to tell I think. It's kind of weird because if I am NOT in front of a mirror and I look at them, they look normal in size, it's only when I am IN front of the mirror that I think they look so big. Damn those mirrors, maybe they are like film in that you always look 10pounds bigger on camera! Either way, I am only 2 weeks PO and so swelling still going down, finally dropping, a little fluffing, so they will get smaller I think. But even if they dont, oh well, they will still look good! Just takes a little time I guess, us small girls aren't used to looking at a big rack all day long! Soon, you won't even think about hte size!

No dont toss the tops they will fit later on just hold them to the side I've been wearing those old tiny little tops and the twins look fantastic and I've got the same issue as Milk Mamma that I'm told I'm a D and then once I put it on I'm hanging out..there like ohh honey I hate to say it but your a 34DD...I'm all like YAY!!! your going to look fantastic.

Oh too funny about your FIL! I am actually wondering about what my cousins are going to think when they see me at Christmas and it's going to be cold there in Winnipeg so I'll be covered up. But I went extra large and they will for sure notice. I don't really care though. I am just contemplating whether I should warn them or not. I'm very close to my one cousin so I think I might. I seriously look HUGE. My EX took one look and me, shook his head, said "you're goofy, and yup they look like stripper boob alright".

Now the other people I'm really worried about is my sister and her family. As it was they freaked a bit on my tattoos and my eyebrow piercing. They are super conservative in some ways, in others not so much so it's really hard to say. They know that I've literally cried for years about my small chest so perhaps they will understand completely. I will most definitely prepare them before I see them in May!

Ok so surgery is in 13 days, meeting with the Dr. tomorrow to discuss size and all, so I am really looking for help. My optimal result is a 34 full C/small D absolutely nothing bigger as I have a fairly small frame, and I am also terrified of inlaws and family thoughts. But really I agree with most of you in the sense that its your choice, so enjoy it. But please to all of you experienced girls help me with size . . . .

Hardly any of my shirts fit me either, But that was ok with me. As far as the underwire you can take it out. Thats what I do.

I find it really hard to find 34D bras as well! wtf? Lots of 36C and 36D but really lacking in the 34D's. Anyone know who has a good selection of 34D's?

I have to shop for tops or dresses size bigger, cannot fit almost anything. I do enjoy shopping, new dresses and tops are right excuse for breast implants. I am 34dd, and do not consider it huge, got used to the new size very fast and want to got bigger in the future even though some friends think that is too much.

Hey hun! It is quite a shock to realize you are a D+ when you were expecting a full C, which is what happened in my case. You may get used to them and learn to love them. I enjoyed them for awhile, but it is still such a shock to me to see pictures of myself with huge boobies LOL. I am going in for a re-do in January to go to a C. I have just never been comfortable to be a D. I would go smaller, but the docs are afraid my skin will not contract if I do any less than 300cc. Good luck! Don't feel down! You may learn to love the girls! Go do some (sale) shopping for maybe 2 new shirts, that will make you feel better.

i went to dillards and got the modern form fit 34 d's no wire in black very comfty they range between 30 - 40 bucks
