Did you gain a size?

I was just wondering if anyone changed clothing sizes with their breast augmentation?

I haven't really heard much about this, but I'm kind of waiting to get new clothes until after it's done. Although, it's very tempting not to purchase new winter clothing!

I'm a size small, sometimes extra small now, I'm just wondering if shirts will fit differently after it's done? I really don't want a bunch of short shirts! ha.

I plan on going from an A to a C.

Should I keep waiting?

I went from a 32 not-quite-A to a 32 D. I sold so many of my clothes pre-op, only to find that I'd still fit into nearly all had I kept them! My hubby took me shopping a week post-op, and I still fit into x-small tops. Could not believe it The really great news is that now I can fill out a dress off the rack..no alterations needed to cinch in the bust!

I tried quite a few of my favorite clothes with my rice implants and I fit in most of them (I actually fit better in most of them!).

So no, I don't think you should get rid of your clothes because you're getting a breast augmentation. That being said, I'm sure a shopping spree would be in order!

This is good to know since my husband thought I would need new clothes...maybe I shouldn't tell him and go shopping anyways. But then again he is agreeing to spend $4000+ on my boobies so maybe I should just stop there.

This makes me feel a lot better! I was wondering how to afford getting new clothes on top of getting this done! ha. (Although a few more wouldn't hurt..)

I also didn't want to have to explain to the grandma (who always buys everyone new clothes for christmas, since she worked at a department store) why they didn't fit anymore!

You'll need new bras (and that's a good thing), but not clothes. I fit into everything, but it was so cool to see how much better I looked in my old clothes after the breast augmentation, since I went a little bigger than the padding I used to wear. I have bought a few tops (especially tank tops) just for fun, because I can go lower cut now & look great instead of feeling like low cut might reveal my padding, and you can only pad so much! I only buy Smalls or Extra Smalls now, because medium loose fitting tops don't show off the new girls at all, it hides them. So bring on the sexy tops!

Its very wise not to throw out all of your tops. I went from a 32A to a 32D/34C. I usually wear small tops and some extra small. I could still wear all of my tops with the exception of a few button up shirts. The button up shirts gaped at the bust, it looked like I was literally going to send buttons flying across the room...lol. Other than that, I did not have to go buy a new wardrobe.

I haven't changed top sizes either. Everything still fits, just better. I am thinking that after redo in January I may have to replace my button ups. They aren't too small now but I don't have alot more room in the to "grow". LOL

It was so hard for me not to buy anything I thought I would look good on me before I had my breast augmentation. A lovely lady from the forum told me to hold off b/c I would still be able to fit into my tops.. I went from an A to a babyD.
And to my surprize I Still fit into my tops EXCEPT.. those Baby T's. I had to give those away to my teenage babysitter. So I was happy I didn't go crazy buying new tops.. I just went crazy in buying nice expensive bras!

ROXYANNE will become famous soon enough
BUTTON GAP! UGH! It's the bain of my existence. I took most of my button ups to a tailor and she sewed in a small hook so they wouldn't gap. It saved me a lot of money I would have lost from throwing thing sout. Before I was definitly an XS and now I'm more of a Small so...no major change but I'd say I had to give away about 1/3 of my stuff. Mostly the baby Ts and tighter fitting stuff.

Hi, Someone I knew was a size Small UK 6/8, they were an A cup before the op, and now a D and can still fit into the same clothes. I guess it depends whether the clothes have any stretch in them. bye

Haha. I actually think I'll be very excited to have the button gap... (of course I won't wear those shirts) but it'll be exciting to see the changes!

milla will become famous soon enough
since this year layering was / is in, i wore vests or strappy tops under my shirts and left an extra button open

jeans, trousers and skirts are not a problem. still tiny down there. jackets arent a problem either coz i've always had big shoulders so i always had to buy 2 sizes bigger on top than bottoms. all my suits are odd! only difference is now they fit better coz the boobies fill out where previously was an empty gap.

the only thing i bought in a bigger size were 2 dresses however i didnt need to throw anything out because before my breast augmentation dresses looked so downright ugly. i couldnt fit into anything without looking ridiculous. so for the first time this summer i wore floaty flowers and designed dresses. pucci and issa here i come. DVF have some lovely wrap dresses also. i have my eye on one of them
