size issues, 400-425?
Girls, I need to make a decision about my size by next week. I am having a redo and thinking either 400 or 425 cc's HP. I know this sound trivial b/c there isin't much difference but, I am freaking out over this. I want a D and presently I am a C.
The difference is only 50 to 75 cc's. I wonder if I should stick with 425's but then I am worried I will be all chest. My rib cage is 29 inches and my PS said he can't do sizers as he doesn't have anything smaller than 250cc's and I already have 350's. He also said I will have little difference with the 400's but it sounds so huge to me. Arrghh... Anyone with similar stats.

My Dr. said he wouldn't do a redo for anything less than an extra 100cc's, he said you wouldn't notice much of a difference under that. I would go with 425cc's.
I do know how you feel..I'm still thinking about a redo and looking at the different profiles/cc's trying to figure out what I would want if I do get the redo...I certainly want bigger but don't want to be rediculously huge...so I know how you feel. |

I had my BA last week. I am 5'5 118 lbs..and I got 425 CC's. In my first consultation my PS had suggested anywhere from 375-400. I went into surgery thinking I was getting 400 and came out with 425 (HP as well). I was a little freaked out at first because I was afraid of being too big. I wanted to achieve a full c/small d in the end- and I started with a 32 A. I still have alot of swelling but I am very very happy with 425. I think it was perfect for me and totally trusted my PS to suggested the best results for what I wanted. Hope this helps some!

Ginger, I am glad you replied. I think we have been in the same boat from the beginning. We had the surgery around the same time and posted dissapointment thereafter. Funny, now your posts could easily have been written by me.
Are you going to pursue this? Where are you at with this redo? I am finally getting it done Feb. 11th. I am excited but nervous and yes, still contemplating the sizing. I do think I will do the 425's. I think anything larger would be too large. But, then again, that's where I went wrong the first time. My PS said there is no limits on what size he could insert but, I don't want to be all boobs. You'd think this would be easier the second time and I actually things its worse. LOL.

Right now I am only wearing a general Sports Bra (Champion brand front zip) and I am fitting a little tight into a medium. I also have a large that fits a little bit better. I am only 8 days post op so I am not sure of exactly what size I am at this point, but I am guessing that I will be a full C for sure MAYBE a small D just depending on how much I soften up and drop. I was so afraid they would be too big and I think they are perfect. I am suppose to do a little bra shopping this weekend so if I get a better idea on my exact size Ill be sure to let you know!:-) and I have no problem sending you some pics if you would like |

Jennifer, some pics would be ideal. Thank you so much. I would really like a small D. But, I honestly wonder if 450's would be too large. What do you think? Do you think you could handle 450? Also, what is your rib cage size?
My friend had only 325 HP's and I swear she is larger than I and I got a larger size. Goes to show you that implant sizes look different on everyone.
