Perky boobs versus big matronly boobs--what's the difference?

How would I describe this? Or to my surgeon?

I see some women with big boobs that look just bulky/massive--they're wider (I've already established i don't want side boob) and they also seem "longer."

I don't know if this look is even achievable with my body shape because I have "pigeon chest" ie ribcage sticks out like a barrel and am pretty broad--34" ribcage. But I want to look round and full and perky, not just "big".

At my pre-op consult I selected 450cc mentor hp under-muscle. Starting out with nothing. I didn't take her any pictures. But she insisted I should go at least 450cc. And she didn't even ask about profile--when I called to inquire they just slated me for high profile.

I like the victoria secret look. They don't seem overly big, just nice boobs.

What should I do? Just say a prayer and hope it turns out? Have another consult? Any other guidance?

You should share pics of what you like with your PS so he/she is aware of what is acceptable to you..

I agree with Moonshine54. You should set up a meeting and bring pics of breasts you like for your PS to keep and refer to. You are spending a lot of money so the PS can make time to listen to your requests. Good luck girl!

It sounds like you still have a lot of questions and concerns so you should definitely schedule another appt w/ your PS so you can get your answers. But the look you want is possible even w/ PC. I have the same problem, severe PC on my left side, mild PE on my right side. My PS had to be very precise and careful when he formed the pocket for my left side so that my implant and breast would face forward instead of pointing off to the left. It required a lot of extra cutting and stitching of my pec muscles. I did end up having a much longer recovery b/c of my problems, but my PS did an amazing job and my boobs look 'normal' and natural now.

Even though you don't like "side boob", a little sideboob is good because it makes your waist look smaller. HP to me always look too fake... I'm 32b and getting 457 cc moderate profile. The reason is because i want cleavge and do not want a "refund gap".

MaxiJuli:
Hi, Can you explain a little more on the cleavage with moderates? I have HP now and am going in for a revision in Feb…and one of the reasons is because I feel I don't have cleavage. Also, what is a refund gap?

Also, in my opinion you are right about a little bit of side boob.

I know exactly what u mean. I think of it as the squared off look of breasts. I think it has a lot to do with the width of larger implants. I have mod rounds n I wld not want them any wider. I think this might be why implants with more projection n less width have become vry popular n the past 10 yrs. just my 2 cents.

Take n pics of what u like vs what u don't... Visuals r best way to make it clr with PS what ur hoping to achieve.
