Anyone else only have 190cc??!!
I am so mad with myself - they seemed just right at the time but now I am mad - apart from the lift which I am delighted with I am pretty miserable that I am a small B!!! pretty un-noticeable really when clothes are on (padded myself up before)
might have to do this again (only 2 weeks post op - and $8000 later implant and lift) |

Bless.
I am sorry to hear you are feeling mad right now ![]() It is very difficult to decide on size, I freaked out a bit on hearing 380, it seemed like a huge number at the time but I went for it & am happy. Did you fully discuss what you wanted with your surgeon? Did they advise you to go for the size you did? Are you able to tell them how you feel? Good luck. x |

I'm sorry , that's shitty when you go into this with a limited amount of knowledge, I kind of did the same, i didn't find this forum until i was 4 days post op...but in my case, 290 was the most my surgeon would allow, you will have to give yourself a few months (6 I think) until you can get a redo, but in the meantime, I guess after a couple of months it wouldn't hurt to visit some other surgeons

well my surgeon has ordered 2 sizes for me 210cc and 240cc
she said she would try and get the bigger size in if she could fit it, i have my BA on sunday, so im going to say to her to definitely go with the bigger size if she can, im a 30AA and 5'1 and ideally would like to be at the very least a full B i would wait until you are fully healed and the like, cuz alot ofpeople have said how much the size changed over 2-4 weeks, and you also have to get used to them, dpends if you want the natural look or not i guess, chin up x |

Don't get me wrong - my ps was great and I was very pleased with the job he did - just frustrated at myself for not going a size bigger - Bishybarnebee thanks for that - you make good sense - I will wait and see what happens when everything has healed up.

I can understand your frustration, but give your boobs some time to settle, and live with them a bit...and you might just be surprised.
Think about all the smaller-breasted women out there with knock-out figures, and how slim and elegant they look in clothes (i.e. Eva Longoria, Nicole Kidman, Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, etc.). That was the look I was going for when I scheduled my BA, and I'm glad I did. But, I'm going to have a re-do, hopefully sometime in 2009 when I can scrounge up the money, to see if I can fix the asymmetry (hopefully without increasing the size by too much). See my siggy if you're interested in the details.

sorry you are upset....that is a very small implant. I find that most people who go anywhere under 300cc's are unhappy afterwards...once the implant is inside of your body, it really doesn't look as big as you imagined it would...heck i have 400cc's and I love them, but they don't feel super big or anything.
I wish you luck with whatever you do and if you do go for a re-do i would go significantly larger than you did the first time so you are happy with the results. I would go up 150-200cc's

Is it a bad idea?
Hi!
Went to my first consultation the other day and the surgeon reccomended 190cc. When trying on the implant I felt like it was huge, but judging by all the responses here, it obviously comes out alot smaller :S I'm 5'9", around 9stone and a small 34B. Would bigger than 190cc be better? I'd love some advice! Thanks |

I don't think my surgeon had an implant smaller than 250 in his office! That's what happens when you live in Miami. I think the UK Dr's are more conservative.

I agree with suprmama. The Dr. didn't even consider anything under a 250cc in Miami.

^^^ I agree. Taller women can carry much bigger implants with ease.

most taller women get way more cc for the simple fact that when you are tall a small implant looks barely there... I think you will not be very pleased with only 190cc...anywhere around 400cc and upwards would be a better size...starting out with a B... Scrap that PS...go on a few more consults... and remember implants look smaller than natural breasts... |
