I am getting my ba on the 7th. I wanted to know if anyone has 800cc. I know this is a large size. I have not found anyone to talk to with 800cc or above. Is it really that rare? Am I going to look like a freak? My ps said my body can handle this size. I feel very alone right now and would really love to hear from someone who has been there. Thank you so much, Corie

Don't quote me, but I would imagine so. From all I've read the higher the ccs the higher chance of bottoming out and capsular contracture.

Capsular Contracture - When any implant is inserted the body reacts by forming a lining of tissue around it called the capsule. In some cases the capsule begins to shrink, squeezing the implant that it surrounds. Though the exact causes of capsular contracture are largely unknown, there are factors that can contribute to this complication, including:
Germ contamination during implantation Seroma (the development of extra fluid around implant) Hematoma (internal bleeding) Infection Smoking Placement of implant above muscle (when placed bellow the muscle capsular contracture occurs with less frequency) Depending upon the severity the breast can feel firm or hard, become distorted, and begin to cause pain. To cure or treat capsular contracture there are both surgical and non-surgical options.

Bottoming out is when the implants falls from their correct position to the bottom?

Hey, I just wanted to apologize. I was looking online and saw a pic of a girl with 800cc and she didn't look that big at all. Maybe it depends on the situation? I would ask one of the docs on here. They're knowledgable.

With such a high cc amount, are you sure you want to do saline overs? You may not be pleased with the feel of it. Anyone who has these kinds of stats, please correct me if I'm wrong! I'm just thinking out loud here and trying to be helpful.
I actually have salines, but they're under my muscle and just 310cc and I started with a full B. I love them, but that's because I can't feel the saline implant. I'm just wondering if going over the muscle with a larger size would make you feel the implant more.

I'm getting 800cc...
there are some on here that have around 700 or more that are active... Capsular contracture happens with any size... Bottoming out http://www.**********.com/articles.cfm/2131/1366 women can help by wearing a very good support bra when going larger... http://www.breast-plastic-surgery.or...oming-out.html can occur more with overs because of not much support... http://www.**********.com/articles.cfm/2131/1406 I believe if you're gonna go big... you're gonna have to have good support...this is what I will be doing... protect my *investment* as best I can..of course you do all this but if you have a surgeon that over disects or something bottoming out can occur too...800cc is not nearly as large as it sounds...you only have to do a google of Maxi Mounds and Chelsea Charms... now that is big... You might want to choose unders for additional support ? Some pics of 800cc...you will be bigger starting out as a C cup though... http://www.poustiplasticsurgery.com/...025&StartRow=1 AA with 800cc http://www.poustiplasticsurgery.com/...054&StartRow=1 from a C with 800cc http://www.poustiplasticsurgery.com/...220&StartRow=1 from a C cup with 800cc http://www.poustiplasticsurgery.com/...23&StartRow=11 HTH...they are not nearly as big as it sounds...a lot of people think huge when they think 800cc...they probably think blown up balloon type boobs...lol when I get mine I will show that they are not as big as it sounds... This is your choice and sometimes you will get some negative feedback/vibes from others when going larger then the *norm* ...trust yourself and go with what you want...If you don't feel comfortable going that big then base your decision not by what anyone else says but by what you want and feel is right... Just know that if you do downgrade you might find they're not nearly as big as you thought or you might be happy...Your PS seems to think they would suit your frame...but it's your choice at the end of the day Good luck !! ![]()

Thank you for the help. I chose to go with over because my ps said it will help make them more perky. I always wear a bra. I am paying 5,500$ for these I plan to keep them looking great. Time seems to be moving so slow right now. I am doing the count down. Only 9 more days!!! I need to know how to put pics on here when I get my ba. Thanks girls. I feel like I have made new friends here. Your support means a great deal to me. Corie

YW. Anyway, I hope I didn't scare you. That wasn't my intention. Just some things to think about.

I don't think the rate of deflation goes up with the size of the implant, other than that I agree with all the good info in this thread. I worry about the palpability/rippling of the implant with 800 saline overs though. I almost wonder if silicone would give you a better result? (although that would mean a much larger incision because silicone goes in pre-filled) I know that's a highly personal decision (the whole saline vs silicone thing) but I wondered if you'd considered it. 800 isn't that huge, you're not alone, and depending on your stats that may be quite a moderate result for yo |
