Wow, measurements!

Well, I decided to measure myself using the tips off this website. I measured a 34 C! But they look so much bigger. Has anyone else measured this way? Is it really accurate? I mean, I figure when I drop and fluff I will gain a size too, so do you think it is likely that I will be a 34 D after D & F? Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks as always

I have read several posts where people say they are actually requiring larger bra size though it been pretty accurate for me, you may find you need a larger size when you try on bras. (I hope mine do not get bigger with drop and fluff--a bit smaller would be fine!!)

Man, So I will probly be a medium or full D I think I will get used to it but I wish I was a little smaller. I originally was going for a full C/small D. I kinda wish I would have stuck with it, cuz Im not the show off type person anyways. Owell.......they are good, I just hope I can find pretty bras that arent jumbo size. That is one big reason I wanted this surgery, so I would be able to where all the cute bras, but now I might be at the other end of the spectrum still unable to find pretty bras Kinda sad...hopefully I will be happy though
PS It sounds like you will probly be a full C/baby D, because I originally was going to get 350 cc filled to 385 to become a full C small D. I just got paranoid cuz I heard that most women always wish they had went bigger. Darn Boobie greed!

I tried measuring and came up with C and was like there is no way these babies will fit in a C cup. Today I went to Nordstom and they said it is really hard to be accurate measuring yourself. They measured me at 32 DDD! By the way the bras fit great.

Well I am getting a little scared, what if Im bigger than a D!!!! I would def not like that, talk about a hard time finding a good bra.

I measured a 32C using JBI measurements. I've tried on a couple 32C's, and I can squish into them, but they are way too small. I'm wearing 34C or 32D although I've gotten measured at a variety of places with different answers.

My first ba I got 390 and wound up a small D. I beleive you will wind up a D with 450 . Just wait a couple weeks and go get measured at Nordstroms!

Thanks to all of you. I guess I should have trusted the doc when he said it would make me a small D with 385cc, but I had heard that alot of people that went to him always ended up smaller than what he told them. Besides I actually changed my mind on the day of surgery! I told the nurse I wanted the 385 and I was really sure, but she was kinda rude and intimidated me into keeping them! She was like, well I will just let you talk to the Dr about that but he might me upset. so I was like nevermind.....what a bleep! Owell too late now, I should have been stronger then, even though I did tell myself NOT to let them talk me into the bigger size when I went, but I failed. Now, I wll just do my best to be HAPPY! and enjoy the ones I got

With your height, you may pull off the full C. You might look to see what others of your height got out of 450's. I too went a bit bigger than I had originally planned because I kept hearing of this boobie greed. Fortunately, I backed off of full C (my dh was about to convince me) before surgery and just increased to middle C because it got me a full c small d!!!

Well, I guess only time will tell I haven't tried on any bras yet though. I will probly wait atleast a few more weeks. Kind of excited and kind of nervous

Im 5'9 and weigh 138 lbs. And I have 660/mod+ and I fit a VS 34D okay. Its crazy how sizes are so different even with the same body stats..... I had 400/mod and it only got me a 34 full B.. Crazy......

The measuring is worded wrong, because it says to take your ribcage size and add 4-5 inches accordingly to get your band size, then it says to measure your breasts, and minus the BAND size to get your cup size. I've found that to be incorrect. You take the measurement around your boobs and minus your ribcage measurement, and go down the little chart and see how many inches difference equals what cup size.

I found that to be pretty accurate for me, but a lot of people measure and get told the're a really smll cup size, when they aren't. I think maybe it's the wording that's making that happen, though.

I measure a 34DD which is what I am wearing but I am about ready to break out of them and am only 18 days Post BA so I am not sure how accurate it is. VS measured me at a large 34D to 34DD, however there was NO WAY that I was fitting into a D there.....

I hope I D & F into a D though! So many more cute and cheaper option at the D level!

According to this site measuring tips, I'm 32D but all my post op bras are 32C, so something is not right.

I don't physically measure right either. I think I measure at 34DD but I can't fit into a DD at all. I can squeeze into 34E but I think 34F is probably more my size. I go by what fits, not by what I am supposed to fit into according to some charts.

You are so right Lovely! Everyone is soooo different I feel like I will def be a D when I look at them, cuz I know they are going to get bigger, and I am atleast a C now. I have a friend who swears I will just be a C. She says hers got smaller after swelling, so she thinks mine will shrink more before D&F, but honestly I don't think I had much swelling to begin with. They have only gotten bigger since I got them and I am past 2 weeks now
