Need help understanding size

Hello girls, new to the blog. Was hoping in getting some info a little confused. I currently have 10 year old salin implants filled with 380cc. giving me a full C cup. I'm 37yrs,5'6 and a 155lbs. I very muscular and big frame but with curves. I am looking to replace my saline for silicone Mcghan round testured. Now my question is my PS suggested a 410cc in the soft gels. I'm not exactly sure what size this will leave me, I want a full D cup but not sure if this is the size to give me the D cup. Originally my C's looked like D and dropped and after droppping they became the full Cs they are today. Should I be requesting more cc. I'm not sure how much of a differance the cc are in gels vs the saline. My surgey is schduled for this wednesday I need to act fast. Any one out there that can help.

Not really sure that they are that different in sizes. I think you need to go up at least 100cc or 150cc if you want to be a cup size bigger! Let us know how it goes. Good Luck!

I don't think that is going to increase you a cup size. From what I understand silicone implants can't have anything added to it. So if he said 410cc then that's all your getting. I think you need to go up more. I'd say you probably need 500cc and not sure you would be a full D then. Maybe a baby D. HTH!!!

Do you know what brand implant he is using and what brand and style you have now? I just looked up for a 410 textured silicone implant and I couldn't find any on the Mentor or Allergan...there is a 420 though. If you know the specs of the ones now that would help cause you can compare the 2 together....you need to go up atleast 150 cc's to take you a cup size larger. I just went up 200/250 cc's more than what I had and it took me one cup up, but on larger implants it takes more than 150 to take you a cup size larger. Saline and silicone have different specs so thats why it would help if you knew what you have now.

Hey girls thanks for the info, for what I understand I am getting MCgahn round soft touch textured 410. They are surposed to be both 410 in brand name and cc. The Next size up is 465 But I tought this might be to big but now I'm thinking it maybe what I want. I have an appointment tommorrow I will discuss this with my PS. I bet the 465 would be the size you are looking for!

My PS told me that in silicone you need approximately 25-50 cc more than in saline to equal the same size. So, according to that, the 410 would be almost exactly what you have right now. I have 500 CC silicone unders, and I am a D. I am only two weeks post-op, so not a full D, but I think I will be once I drop some more. Hope this helps a bit.

Here is what I found on that style... From what it says they are Highly Cohesive Gels, they are also anatomical. The ones I'm reading about are on the right hand side of the page...they have the 410 cc amounts. They are very high profiles...did he explain to you why you needed that much projection? IMO thats alot of projection for the diameter.

I just read your stats...you and I are almost the same but I'm a tad shorter. I can say in my experiance there is no way that small of a diameter would work on me. mine are in the middle 14's in diameter and that is in the low 13...did he measure your BWD or breast width diameter? Thats gonna be alot of projection and NO side boob at all.

Hey Girls, I got my redo. Im one week PO. and feeling great. They removed my capsalur condration and repalced my saline for Gelfiled silicon, I went from 335 cc to 460 . I do not see that much of a grand differance but hubby and PS say different. I'm happy that they look great but just wonderd does anyone know if you drop and fill even with a redo. I was expecting a bigger differance. I think its because I was expecting the super perky look that I had the first time around. I have to say removing the capsaular contraction has been a blessing , I guess I learned to deal with it for so long that I forgot what it felt like to have a normal feeling boob. Also how long do I have to really wait to get back in the gym.

Congratulations on your redo. With my 2nd ba I dropped much quicker and was never quite as tight as with my first one. Still, it has taken a good 6 months to fully drop and I suspect I still may have some changes to go through.

You are propably still tight and high and will go through some changes.

Hello Girls,
Back again and need your wisdom. I am now 1 month 5days post op. I removed my 10yr old saline implants and had them replaced with cohesive gel round textured. I went from a full c 375cc saline to 465 cc gel. I had capusualr contration maybe stage 3 , 4 on my left breast for years and finally decided to do something about it. Anyway I had my BA and imedialty saw the differance in softness and appearance. I loved it I had soft boobies again. I'v been good and stayed out of the gym a whole month and wore my crappy sports bra the entire time. Now I'm starting to feel some stiffness in my right breast. Since I lived with the capsulation for such a long time to be honest I can't remember if it happened this soon after my surgery. Since day one this boob has been given me the most trouble. It was the one that was most tender. the stiching itched the most and the scaring is not clearing as fast As the other. Now is this what I think it might me or is it to soon to tell. I can difinaly feel a diffarnce in the breast but can't put determin wha tit can be. I also notice that this particluar breast has a more edge to it when I lay down and the implant does not seem To shift like the good one does. Also I sware I could shift it into place if I muliputalte it enough. The last thing I want to mention my right breast tends to soften up when I have a hot shower.
