At 12 days I wanted nothing to do with my breasts, I even went so far as to shower with my tank top on, I couldn't even look at them.

Get through to one month and then see how you feel, chances are....

you will have got a few looks from others (good and bad, ignore the haters....

you will be more full on the bottom of your breasts, hence a fuller, bigger 'look'

you will have bought a few outfits that compliment your size and LOVE IT!

you will have gotten through the emotional stuff that comes with a BA

Just wanted to let you know that after reading this forum for awhile, time is your best friend. I have 450cc HP cohesive gel, unders. I think just waiting for them to drop is the key. You also get use to them. I think you'll be happy down the road! I was a mirror crier too, but with time (only 9 weeks for me) they are becoming quite impressive.

I'm not talking about ribcage or chest measurement, but breast width measurement. This is the width of your natural breast tissue from one side of your breast (near armpit) to the other (near sternum). There's a description on this site under how to measure.

For example, my breast width is 11.5 cm, so my PS chose an 11.5 cm wide implant - the widest I could go without risking visible edges in my armpits. So that limited how big I could go. Figure out your breast width than see if you could go any wider, then you could get more projection. But most surgeons try to choose implants that match your natural breast width very closely.

Well, I have overs, also... and they've dropped but they sure haven't fluffed. I don't think I'm going to see any fluffing with my overs. My ps didn't really know what I was talking about with "fluffing" he said that they will drop and soften, which they have, but the shifting is about all that will occur. I'm happy for the ladies that have gained size with dropping, but I don't see it happening to me. What I have liked (if I ignore that my boobs have shrunk since my ba) is that the shape of them is much more natural. I love the shape, I just wish they were fuller. I bet your shape will soften soon and you'll love your implants!

Well..now it's been a little bit over 2 week and they have softened up and dropped a bit more, I can tell cuz the scar keeps disappearing more and more underneath the fold/crease of my breasts.
I also like that my breasts look very natural, if you'd see me you'd never think I've head a BA.. buuuut, I also wish they were fuller, ALLOT more fuller actually.
Maybe I'm not getting that fullness because I went with anatomical implants..but I had to because of my tuberous breasts. However, I thought 425cc/grams would give me allot more boob than it has. That's the impression that my PS gave me, he basically gave me the impression that i would be pushing it to the "fake" side with 425. Now I realised that we had totally different views on what look I was going for, but I have to admit he did an amazing job..I'm just still very much disapointed with the size.
But I guess I just have to wait and see..right?? *sigh*

How much size have you gained so far from pre BA? With that amount of cc's I would think you would gain at least 2 cups sizes if not even 3. You may just need to wait for everything to settle more.

Umm..I was a 34A pre BA..and right now I'm a small 34C, I just measured myself today. And I can't tell you how torn up I am..I've just been waiting and waiting for things to get better, but it just keeps getting worse and worse.
I thought that 425 would give me a full C small D, but I'm barely a C right now and I'm nowhere near having that "full" look I was going for *sigh*
It's only been 16 days..so maybe..maybe things will get better and I'll grow a bit more in size. keeping my fingers crossed.

Ok your only 16 days out. I am 28 days out and I am nowhere near done. You need to drop a lot more. I do as well. I would think with what you have once you are done you will be either a Full C or baby D. When you drop the implant becomes more settled which is to say that the breast will rest in the bracup instead of just sitting above it. You will then fill the cup up more and will probably be a Full C. It takes months for everything to settle so by the end I would think you might even end up a babyD. Patience is our worse enemy! Look at your before pictures and take lots of pics each day of the new chachas. You will not notice the small changes in the mirror. You can only see those in a picture.

Thank you so much Alaria! I've been in tears the entire day and absolutely hating my new boobs. So nice to hear that there might still be a chance for me to reach my goal and end up loving my boobs instead of sitting here thinking why I'm not as happy as everyone else who've had their boobs done..

Same story...I have 300cc,round,moderate, and i am tall woth broad shoulders. i don't know what my ps was thinking, I asked for a big c and now I can wear C only if it's a push-up. During the sizing his assistant used 300 in anatomic shape and trust me, there is a big difference between anatomic high and round moderate with the same volume.Funny thing-nobody explained me about different profiles and how they end up looking in the body.
So you should be ok having what you have, you lower pole will develop soon.
I also cried and hated myself 2 weeks after surgery. Now I am planning a redo(it's been 6 month since my previous ba). I am wearing same bras I had before ba, can you believe? But i have a good cleavage - one good point.
I only registered today and not sure how to exchange personal messages, but I totally understand you. And I am not in the States too. take care, you are definitely not the worst case.

Welcome! For what it's worth - I am also very broad shouldered, wide ribcage, and I have 400 in the right, and 425 in the left, and I'm turning out to be a small D! It does take some time for them to settle down, soften up and look like what they are meant to look like - you'll probably be a larger bra size than you think!

I'm almost 4weeks . I got 400cc and now I'm full C. You are only 12days, you should be at least size D. It will be take time. Don't worry!!!

If you started out with slightly tubular breasts, MissN, then it may take a bit longer for your tissues and skin to stretch out and let the implant settle into it's final size. Usually, the PS has a bit more work to do with tubular breasts, and that can cause a longer healing time. Did your PS have to lower your creases? If so, that also adds more time into the equation. What I'm saying is the same as the rest - don't worry yet, give it time! You may yet end up very pleased with your new girls. Give them a chance to expand!

As for a re-do, most PS like to wait 6-12 months. Gives you time to heal and also time to decide if a re-do is the right thing, or not. Some will give a reduced rate if you re-do within a year. You need to ask your PS what his/her policy is on that. Wait at least 3 months. Then if you still are not happy, have a talk with your PS to let him know you're thinking you wanted a bigger size from the beginning.

Don't worry girl..you WILL get bigger! I had frankenboobs! They were square, high, ugly and small..and now look at me! PM me if you want my yahoo group. You can see the transformation I went through. It sucks right after your BA..but in time you will LOVE your new boobies..promise.
