so afraid to go too big
I have my pre-op tonight(excited). I am nervous about saying the wrong size. I have been stuck on 325-350 cc's my husband thanks for me to do 375 and no less. I just don't want to be a D cup. I am a 34 nearly A right now. I am 5'5' 116 lbs. I se some people with 350-375 with my stats that look great and I'm like ok that's good then some look soooo big to me and I get scared. Arggg
I want bib boobies but now I am scared. The submuscular ones seem to look smaller and overs look bigger (I am getting over) ohhhhhhh what do I do? I need to make a decision tonight right since they order the size for surgery? Man and advice would help. |

I'm smaller than you and have 300ccs. I got 32D out of it as of now anyway. You are taller than me I would think with 375 you would get a Full C possibly a baby D. Thing is even though the girls chachas look huge in their pics remember your looking at the majority in bras or swimsuits. In clothing they are less impressive. I went in wanting a Full B and my Dr. took as he says creative liberties with my size and I got a 32D. I am soooooo happy he did this because I wouldv'e been dealing with boobie greed. Besides 325 isn't that much of a difference from 375. A full cup size is more like 150-200ccs. I don't think you will regret getting the larger cc's. HTH

Are you scared of the bra size or the way you might look? Everyone says that they never really look as large as natural breasts do. I would go with 375's, I would hate for you to go through all of this and end up with boobie greed! I hope you can find the courage and just go for it!!! You CAN DO IT!!! hahahaha... congrats on your upcoming ba, I wish I were as close! HTH.

I would first take into consideration what your PS recommends for you. They truly know what you can handle and what can give you your desired results. Everyone turns out SOOO differently. Just remember, it's much more common to wish you went bigger than wish you went smaller
HTH!

Honey, I had my post-op today and I told the nurse and PS the same thing. NO D CUP. What they told me was cup size is a really rough estimate of size.
Take your PS's advice. He's the professional and he wants to make you happy! Bring him pics of what you (not your man, lol) thinks looks best, the "before" should look as much like your breasts now as possible, and he'll tell you what cc will get you there, taking into account compression of the muscle. I am SOOOOO much more reassured today about what I'll look like than I have been since my consult, and I'm ready to DO this now. Good luck! |

i think it's best that you show your PS some photos so he/she has an idea of proportion - how YOU want to look. this will also give him/her an idea what you think is 'too big' or 'too small' for your frame. it's hard to think of cup sizes because cups vary according to brand. my PS focused on cc not cup size.
i don't think you will regret going with 375cc because they are easy to hide. sometimes i don't even try to hide mine and they look small anyway! the difference between 350 and 375 isn't noticeable anyway, but if it will put your mind at ease to go with 325-350 then follow your gut. good luck!!!

I orignally planned to go the conservative route and wished to stay in the 300-325cc range. But I also trusted my PS to make me look as natural as possible and he said not to rule out a larger size to help fill out my body. Not only in breast size, but in proportion to my waist, hips, heigth, and overall body frame. I am measuring at a D cup. I was shocked at first, and was slightly upset-for a very brief time. But everyone says I carry it well and look natural. I can wear a sports bra and they look smaller. Entrust that your PS will make you look as natural as possible according to what your body can handle. Print up pictures of what you wish to look like, as opposed to a certain number of cc's. All the best to you!

Thanks girls
well my PS said that I cannot go over 375 if I can even use them that is. So he said let's not concentrate on cc amounts and that he knows I want a C that I will not be a D and to trust his expertise and let him bring them all in 325 up and see whats best. So I will.

Loads of good posts in this thread already but I wanted to recommend taking in photos of what you want to accomplish rather than talk in cup sizes because everyone has a different idea in their heads of what a cup size looks like. Plus I think because so many women are wearing the wrong bra size (could usually go down in band size and up in cup size) our brains are programmed to think that D+ sizes are bigger than they actually are.
Also wanted to say that (perhaps because of the above mentioned things) "D" is not as big as it might sound. I remember freaking out thinking "I'm not sure if I want to be a DD" but now I look down at my 34F's and think "these aren't that big". You get used to them SO fast. The most common complaint about BA's is wishing to have gone bigger. Don't let these letters and numbers freak you out.

We have very similar stats, and we both started off wanting the same amount of cc's, and I was afraid of going too big, too! But in the end, I decided I'd be happier a little too big than I would be if I turned out a little too small! I really didn't want to be disappointed after all of that money. I started off maybe a tad larger than you, and ended up going with 400cc's. I'm a 32DD/E (same as a 34D/DD), which sounds huge, but really only looks like a small D. In pictures of just my boobs (like my sig) they look big, but pics with my face/body in them, they just look nice, with the "fullC/baby D" look I was going for. They don't look huge by any means, and in fact, the people I know who have seen me since my BA were rather disappointed, expecting me to have giant boobs, haha. Since you're starting off slightly smaller than I did, I'd say go for the 375, and you'll maybe end up a full 34C. Not that big at all, really. Remember that 25cc's is maybe a shot glass of difference. When I asked the PS about going up from 350cc's to 400cc's, they said it ws a very very minute, hardly noticeable difference. Or just go with the middle ground of 350! Good luck deciding! |

My stats are similar to yours... But I am totally on board with pics & telling u PS what you want.... Everyone's measurements & what PS sees are different. Talk to the PS and or nurses until you both agree on which implant size to use to get to where you want...

I think that you should go for the 375cc...just my opinion. I, just like you, was scared as hell about being tooooo large. I got 350cc which is my max. They definitely do not feel THAT big or even seem that big sometimes. You get use to them pretty darn fast. My boobs can certaintly get lost in some shirts and I feel so small but there are times where I'm like WHOA gotta hide these babies hehe...it totally depends on what kind of top you wear....I'm also alot shorter than you so mine may seem larger and I'm not sure on your ribcage size, but I think with your height they will look awesome on you. I have a pretty tiny ribcage (26") so my bra size SOUNDS HUGE because the smaller the band the larger the cup goes...but my boobs in cup size equal to about the cup size of a 34D/DD....HTH...I wish you the best with everything

We had the same surgery date (7/23), but it doesn't look like I'll be getting mine next Wednesday. I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant! haha. Gotta love life's little surprises. So do you mind if I totally live through you? I'm just going to pretend that your surgery and photos (and pain!) are mine. You know, see what I could have been experiencing! Good luck, and keep me posted!! |
