HELP!! I went too big...consult for redo tomorrow 7/28!!

Hi girls! I need your help! I had my 1st BA surgery over a year ago and got 475cc's round-saline implants put in, which made me go from a 34B to a 34DD!! What I was aiming for was a full C/small D...however, I got way more than I bargained for. I am extremely unhappy and want to go smaller. I am 5'0 tall and weigh between 115-120lb. I want to get a redo but I am nervous that it is going to look terrible when they replace the larger implants for a smaller ones. I was wondering if there was anyone out there that has gone through the same thing? I have my consult tomorrow for my redo, however, I have no idea what size to go down to. Do you think a 300cc-325cc would do the trick? I just want my body to look proportionate, while also looking full. Please help me!!

I'm not sure with the going smaller aspect of it, how it will affect your body and what not. But I am 5'0 113 lbs,i just had my BA done on july 11 and got 350 filled to 410..as of righ now I am measuring a full C. I heard that after D&F you can get a little bigger but right now I am extremely happy with the end result. Before my BA I was a very small B. Good Luck to you.

I would think that 300-325 would put you at a large C or small D.....

Sorry to hear that you are unhappy, but good for you for correcting it so you can be happy!

I know there are a few ladies that have gone smaller on this board so hopefully they will chime in and give you advice on that end of it

I have noticed that some of the people who have gone smaller were unders before and got overs. I think I noticed two of those on here. I honestly don't know if your skin and mucle will bounce back or if you will need a lift as well to take care of the extra skin. Keep us posted though when you see your PS.

Seems like your initial goal was about a cup-and-a-half of increase (B cup to full C). I could see how 475 got you more than you bargained for. Let us know what the doc says tomorrow.

My PS seems to think that I won't need a lift....he says that the skin on my boobs should bounce back just like the skin does on a pregnant woman. Does that sound about right? I've never been pregnant before...so I don't know. I think what has been my biggest struggle since my BA is finding bras and tops that fit me. Before my BA I would wear small and medium tops....now, I'm finding myself shopping for large tops. However, they are not as flattering because they fit me in the bust, but do not fit me in the waist (they end up being baggy). Has anyone else experienced what I'm going through?

Ummmm.... Not necessarily! Only some LUCKY women have skin that can 'bounce back' after pregnancy without any harm. You are looking to go almost 200cc smaller. That is a fairly significant amount. Maybe he can tell you have that LUCKY skin that just bounces back?

Hey girls....I just got back from my redo consult. I haven't set a date for the redo because I still want to think about it some more. My PS seems to agree that 300 or 325cc's should do the trick and bring me down a cup size, while also keeping the fullness. He said that because my pocket is so large (due to the larger implant), he would have to go in and stitch up the sides....so that the smaller implants wouldn't fall into my armpits when lying down. He said that the surgery would be longer about an hour longer than my first, but that the recovery would be shorter since the pocket is already there. I'm torn on what to do...part of me is a afraid to go through with the surgery because of the risks involved. He said that when switching the sizes and stitching up the sides...there is a possibility that one could sit a little higher than the other and that there is a chance for infection (just like the 1st surgery). I think I am going to sit tight and in the meantime find a really good minimizing bra and try and lose another 10lbs. I think my major problem with my breasts is that I haven't been able to wear the same type of clothing as before that used to compliment my figure. Any suggestions on where to shop for clothing and bras that would look flattering on a petite and big busted girl?

PS- Thanks so much for your support girls....it means the world to me!! I think my bf is ready to spit nails....I have been bugging him for an entire year about how big and unflattering my boobs are....he seems to think the complete opposite!!

Bella, I never even suspected some of the things the PS said...about stitching up the sides....chance of infection.

You never stated in your original post why you were dissatisfied with going too large. Meaning, is it the difficulty in finding clothes only ? What do you think about your size when wearing bikinis / lingerie / nothing at all ?

Bella - we are in the same boat!!! I was a 34C and wanted a full C, small D, ended up at 34DD+. I have a redo scheduled for next thursday (8/7) to go down to 325/375. Went to pre-op yesterday, to make a long story short, i ended up going to try on bras last night (since I've never been able to find one and finally gave up). I ended up trying on a 34 DDD and DDDD, 34G and 36DD and they fit! My nurse says I DONT look too big but I FEEL like I'm too big and don't know if I can deal w/having to wear a 34DDD!!! I'm so torn....but have to make up my mind soon. There are time when I don't feel like I look to big but I think that is the minority. I'm still leaning towards keeping my appt but IDK!!!

I also went for a consult because my doctor told me on my first consult that I would need 250cc to fill out my bresats from breastfeeding my last child.I am 5"4 and 95lbs.I got huge breastfeeding but after that I wore a 34c because I needed the width in the cup but needed a push up. I wanted HP because of being narrow.After waking up fro surgery I asked him what size and he said he put in 450 silicone moderate because my pockets were so big and that the HP didn't look good. I don't think he even tried them because he doesn't like the fake look.It's been almost two years and I hate them. He said he could sew my pockets on the side and put in 375HP this time but like you I'm scared if they'll line up right or be worse. I hate moderate because they are wide and don't project enough.I feel like I have big,fat boobs! They touch and sweat together all day in a bra! I also wish someone could advise me on what to do because somedays I feel like I'm going to have a nervous breakdown over this,I think about it 24/7!!

talk to your PS, i went through the same thing i wanted full C but have about a DD right now.
My PS said its all swelling since i had so much breast tissue to start out with he said in 3 months I should be a D and in about 6 a Full B/small C so I'm going to shrink more than a couple sizes.
Talk to your PS you may be in the same boat.

I feel your pain except I really shouldn't sulk. My first ba I was too small and now I think I over did it. Sometimes I am content and other times I think OMG I am huge. I wanted a D cup and got an E cup and I have no idea how that happened. I really think 425-450's would have been perfect but no way am I getting a 3rd ba plus, the 50cc's less would not be worth it.

I also wear large t-shirts which fit great in the bust but are huge in my waist. I don't wear any push ups as it adds another cup and I look like Pamela Anderson. I have found that my style of shirts has changed. On the positive side, the clothes I never used to wear b/c they flattened me out now look fabulous on me. I love the clothes I can now wear that consist of the more loose blouses/button downs etc and they don't look frumpy on me or anything like tha and they are so pretty. Also, dark colours tend to reduce the look of larger busts.

I hated my C's but I do feel that an E cup is way to large for such a petite girl. I have decided to just go with the flow and make the most of my busty look.
