450cc down to 385cc?
Hi, Went for my first consult last week, Dr suggested 450cc (i want a large D, middle - large DD) which I was ok with at the time, however with some of the pictures I have seen of the same size implants, it barely gives you a large D, possibly not a DD, but maybe a large C ... (which I don't want! DD all the way pls!!)
Then three days before my surgery, I get a call from my PS and he tells me he thinks 450cc will be too big on me, that it may look silly. Which really upset me, he then suggested a 385cc or 345cc ... I got really confused, he keeps going down in size ... Which I am not happy about at all! I want a BIG look, and I don't want to pay all this money, to turn around in 6 months and want a redo. I am currently a 14a/12b I saw on my paperwork that he has ordered three different sizes, to decide on the day, 375cc, 450cc and a 520cc implant. I am rooting for the 520cc!!! What can I do to ensure I don't regret my BA and that the Dr gives me the larger implant, safe for my body and stats? I don't want to have any regrets ... xxx missred |

you tell him EXACTLY what you want and what look you are going for... maybe he doesn't know what look you are going for (natural, semi fake, fake). Fight for what you want and then just trust that he will give you the biggest he can.

Just talk to your PS again and let them know what YOU want. If he suggests a size, ask him WHY!!!!!!!!

My PS didn't actually ask me what I wanted, I took pictures to show him and he didn't want to look, because everyone is different he told me. He didn't ask me what my desired size was or what size I will be with the implant size he first suggested (the 450cc)
I am currently a 14A/12B cup. Breastfed one bubba and have good overall shape, just lacking size and projection. He explained that a larger size may give me problems down the line, may thin the skin, and become palpable (sp) ... but I am not a small built gal, and I think my chest can easily hold a large implant, when I first saw pictures of the size I desired, it was in the range of 600cc - 800cc ... And that is a far cry from 385cc! |

im thinking you should go for the 450ccs or 520ccs.. i had a small B cup and got 500ccs and my ps thinks that will put me in a D or DD so just go for whatever u want. it doesnt matter if the doc thinks it looks good on you or not he wont see you everyday. i would just say go for the biggest you wanna be. i thought 500ccs would be too big for me but i ended up doing it and i love them and so far they are big.. 385 or 345 is too small for what your wanting

If you can squeeze it in, I would get a quick second opinion from another PS.. see if the second PS also thinks you would not be able to hold a larger implant. If his/her answer differs from your PS, I would speak with your PS before your surgery day. I would understand the health and well being for your PS to not want to put a bigger implant in you, but I also wouldn't want him to be going on the conservative side.. despite your own request... JMO
![]() P.S. if that doesn't work, you can always threaten bodily harm.. should you wake up in recovery with small boobs.. j/k

Stick to what you want! The nurse at my sizing tried to talk me into 400cc, saying as I age the skin gets thinner, stretchy, saggy, yada yada yada!!
I said if in 5 or 6 years I need a lift, I will get one then. Now gimme my 450cc's!!! I do not want to be less than a D!! Take care & stick to your guns. |

If you're wanting to be a DD, I would probably go with the 520's or 450's overfilled, since you're starting out a B cup. Remember, typically it takes 150cc's to equal 1 cup size. I've seen plenty of girls with 450's achieving DD's. I did, but started out a C cup. Good luck! Tell your ps that you don't want to go through the surgery and recovery if you can't get the size you want

Definately stick to your guns, he probably likes the conservative look, just make sure he knows you want bigger, his main goal should be to please you!!

That sounds strange to me that your PS didn't ask you exactly what you want. I feel like a PS is there to give you suggestions that will get you to where you want to be. I have heard that some can be conservative in order to keep complications low, but I feel like a PS needs to give the patient what they want within reasonable means. I don't know what your PS's cancellation policy is, but if I were you I would definitely get a second opinion. It is a lot of money to spend to have huge regrets afterward. That seems like a far stretch from the size that you are wanting! Good luck!!!

Go with what your gut feeling tells you to go with. If you want 520cc and they are within your BWD measurements..I would go with that. Trust me..My PS suggested I go with 350cc. I wanted 400cc. I am glad I went with the 400cc I wanted. I have no regrets or Boobie Greed.
