Mod profile unders to HP overs
Hi,
I just had my 2nd redo due to bottoming out two days ago. 1st BA and 2nd was done with smooth silicone moderate profile under the muscle. Due to my under muscle tissue damage the PS went over the muscle with a High Profile textured implant (super furry Brazilians/polyurethane covered). I have major swelling and cant really tell what they are going to look like. I'm basically scared that i'm not going to like them. Even with the swelling they look smaller. My old implants and new implants are both 325cc. Has anybody gone from unders to overs and or moderate profiles to HP's? what will be the change in the look/feel? Any advise helpful. Thanks Krissy |

I wish I could help you, but I have no knowledge of those type of implants, however, I doubt that you would look smaller because they are overs. However, I can see how you might not be used to them because you went from Mod to HP, which are going to give them a different shape, along with the fact that you went from under to over. This is a big change. I would give it some time to see how they heal. One of the reasons I'm responding is to bump it up a bit in the hopes that someone will answer. Good luck!

If the implants you have now are the same size as you had before, then the difference you'll notice is in the shape. The HP's will be narrower and project more than the moderate profile implants did. The fact that they're over vs. under shouldn't make that big of a difference in how they actually look.

Thanks so much. The swelling has gone down alot and Im starting to relax a bit more - they are finally starting to look like my boobies again! Yay!
They are really firm. The right is more firm and sore than the left. The right bottomed out further tho so they did more work on that side. Im hoping that is all that it is. I get my checkup and stitches out on Thursday so im sure the PS will tell me if anything is wrong. Thanks again for the vote of confidence. |

I dont think when I had my first ba they actually came in "profiles"... I had saline, round thats all I know..
I now have sils, overs, HP... they are much "wider" (sideboob) than my salines were, and about the same projection on me, hard to define that part because I had cc. I love my HP's.. but they do tend to have a bit of a "squarer" look... |

Hey Krissy
I'm just curious but what procedure was done to revise the bottom-out? Did your ps just do the internal stitching or did he do external as well?

Sorry I'm not exactly sure, I know he did the pocket revision and he did internal stitching, not sure what you mean by external?

It took about three weeks for my swelling to completely go away (I didn't have a redo, just started with HP Overs). They started to get soft right around this time and continued from there.

Did he remove skin from your breasts to bring the pocket back up? Geez...I don't know the correct terminology. it would be incisions that went from maybe 3 o'clock to almost 9 o'clock.

Im glad you are loving your HPs now, I also have HP and love them but have also been wonderful how it would have been to have a moderate profile.
What are super furry brazilians? Is that something unique to Australia? |

They are produced by Silimed and have only just been approved in australia for use. Im not sure what other countrys they are approved in. They claim to reduce the risk of CC down to 1%.
