290cl
Hi, I had my BA six days a go and have been surviving by reading this forum, it helps so much knowing that what you are going through is completely normal! What I wanted to ask is about sizes, my Doctor fitted 290cl's, but I noticed that everyone here refers to them in cc, is this the same ??? Thanks, Diana X

I was about a 34AA beforehand, after five children there was very little breast tissue so have had unders. They didn't say what size they would take me up to, but my Doctor advised as I was so tiny I couldn't go any bigger than 290cl, I am worried now that they are to small. At the moment I am wearing a 34D Sports Bra, but I am not sure how much of that is still swelling!!!!

I think your doctor may have gotten it wrong, or you may have. One cl (centilitre) equals 10 cubic centimetres, so you'd have 2,9 liters (2900ccs) in each breast! that would be huge! Now one ml (millilitre) equals one cc (cubic centimetre). Maybe he said millilitres? Or maybe he's just confused about the metric system.

I think he may of got it wrong, bit of a language barrier as you said. I have found some interesting posts on here from girls that have had the same sort of size as me, so here's hoping they turn out OK. Thanks for replying.

Diana, I had 290cc too. I was barely an A cup, and now wear Cs, mostly Ds. Although I think the UK bra sizing is more on my side, maybe in the States I would be B/C I dont know. Anyway, I have enough, and am probably bigger framed than you if you are tiny HTH x

If mine turn out as nice as yours I will be happy, think I just need to be patient and see how they look after they have D&F. Di X
