My Brain is fried

I have spent weeks looking at before and after pictures. My PS wants to know what i like and don't.My brain is so fried at looking at them.I can say i have seen some that aren't pretty...

I am getting close 21 days and nervous. What if i end up looking like one of the ones that i don't like?
I have seen some that look like a hanging ball, and some that look like a torpedo.
I just want nice round with some cleavage. Some look so close and some soooo far apart.
Geese.

I am so confused. The more i look and read the more confused i get..

I saw some surgeons work that looked good and some bad.
I am going to vent this all with pics at preop next week.
Am i being silly or should i be worried. I just want to not be sorry i did this and not be back in saying i hate this.

I did the same thing. I took in some pics of what I liked and did not like also. I am only 16 days post op so I still don't know the end picture of what I look like. I thought once I chose the 420cc amount that is what I would get. I really struggled because I thought that was a high number for me but I went a little larger because some women I spoke with wished they were a little bigger. But when I came out of surgery he filled me to 475cc and I was really upset. I am still swollen but I think I will be really large. I did not know they can over-fill the implants and he said he looked at me in surgery and thought this was what I needed. So talk to your ps about what size you want because the amount you choose can be adjusted during the proceedure according to how you look. Lots of luck .... The pics are confusing because everyones body type is different also and I think it is really difficult to judge from other pics.

I can so much relate to everything you are saying. And no need to apologize! Not at all. Vent away. I am glad to listen. I have very similar feelings to you but I have a bit more time to stew about it so the urgency isn't quite as much for me. I'll probably be the one saying the same things in another month! I think we have to have faith in our PS, that they will get as close to what we want as possible. Of course there's different looking boobs out there -- different women want different looks. I stopped looking at the photos, once I found what I like. I printed out photos of what I like and don't and now I won't look anymore. You can drive yourself crazy by overthinking it.

You're not being silly. Worries are normal. You just can't let the worry take over the rational part of your brain. You know you want to do this, or you wouldn't be at this point. Try think of all the positives.

Knowing you can come to these forums for help and encouragement is a wonderful help, too.

Easy to say - hard to do, but try and keep busy in your life and not obsess about boobs too much. (If only I could follow my own advice!)

I have to pick the exact size i want. I am going with the gummy bears. I can't get filled bigger . So, i want to be sure of my exact size. I like 400cc in rice. I think i am going to go with 450's since i am going under the muscle to get what i want. I have lost more weight and the b cup bras are big. No use in buying new ones now...
I have to have a crease incision, so that is one decision i don't have to make.. LOL...

Does the dr. have pictures for you to look at...you should be able to show him a picture of breasts that you would like to have, and he/she should be able to tell you if you can have those or not...lol...sounds like I'm shopping for a car, or picking a hair color....

I would definately go with the 450....boobie greed is a real thing, and going with unders, you will lose a little bit anyway.

I basically had to go with a certain size because of the shape my breasts were in (deflated), however, if the dr. is telling you that you can pick your size, check out some pictures of movie stars, or others that have the same shape body that you do...see if any have breasts that look like what you want. I know of a couple of girls who bought playboy magazine, just to get a good look at some boobs...lol

Don't worry about getting confused, or nervous, this is all very normal...

I went to his secondary office. All the goodies are at the main Gibsonia office which for me is 2hrs away. I didn't want to travel that far.He was very thorough with me. Spent an 1 1/2 hrs with me. I was pleased with the amount of info he shared and we talked.This guy was concerned with my feelings. Not what he wanted. I loved him.I am also having a mini face lift done.
I am just nervous...
Pain and all and results.

We totally understand what you are going through. We have all been in your shoes.

Remember when looking at surgeon's sites, a lot of those photos are taken early post-op when the breasts have not settled. That's why you are seeing torpedo boobs, and boobs that are really far apart. There's very few surgeons who put the final results(one year post-op) pics on their sites, most are probably in the less than 3 month mark. You would probably be better off looking at magazines like Playboy or something similar to that.

I have been doing the same thing. It can be super confusing since there is so much variation among CC's, cup sizes, final results. Asking questions and venting is , I hope,

, completely normal.

Hi Anne,

One very important fact to keep in mind when looking at photos is that your breast do not and will not look like the photos.(unless you find befores that look exactly like you) Your outcome will be your current boobs, just bigger. So if you have for example small areolas or a very big space between your breasts, you will have the same features after breast augmentation. Also because we all have different stats/body types, shapes, the same size can look totally different on different girls. I know it is very confusing but it sounds like you have a great PS and he can play a great part in helping you make your decision.
If you have done the rice test and like a certain size then I would add at least 50cc to that.
You are not being silly at all, I was a nervous wreck over size.(we all are) I wanted 350's and when my PS suggested 420 I almost fell over. Now I'm wishing I had gone a bit bigger. Good luck,sweetie, it will all work out
