yeah i believe that is the fill. but im not 100 percent sure. i don't understand why they would allow so much fill volume? i mean over 100cc's is alot! plus i remember reading on here in one of the ask a plastic surgeon posts (don't remember which surgeon it was, but he said with high profile he won't overfill them more than 10-20cc's because it distorts the shape), but im sure every surgeon has their own view and opinion on that. my surgeon just fills it to the nominal fill volume so that is why im going with 630cc. so my surgeon will fill both of mine to 630cc but im hoping he will add a bit more to my right due to asymmetry. i told him during my first surgery that my right was smaller and he said that he could add some more to that one but then once on the operating table he said they looked the same, probably due to swelling. so this time im going to stress to him please add 10 or 20cc's more even if they look the same because once the swelling goes down then they are going to be asymmetrical again. i don't expect them to be perfect but i would like them to be a little bit closer to the same size then they are now. from the front you cant tell as much but from the side you can tell one has more fullness. and my nipples are a little off center, not sure if this is because of the asymmetry or if it just natural anatomy. my surgeons opinion on overfilling is it just makes the breasts harder and i don't want that either. the ones i have now are very soft and jiggle and bounce like real boobs. but im like you i want the most projection available so that is why i just went with the largest size since my surgeon doesn't overfill. what does your surgeon generally do? I would love to know other opinions on this subject!

The manufacturer, Mentor for example, has a fill range that are within their specifications; that's what you see on the chart. My implant card says "380-450 cc" and mine were filled to 425. Overfilling beyond the maximum can or does violate the warranty. It is best to ask your PS about their practice of "overfilling". I *think* what most people refer to as "overfilling" is actually within the recommended range. This just gives the PS more ability to customize your size while they are in surgery.

ok so if mentor says its ok does that mean if u fill it to the max that voids the warranty?

Filling to the max will not break the warranty. In fact, Mentor allows you to go 15 to 20% over the max fill before they break it. When you pass the MAX fill is when it becomes overfill. Anything before that is just a fill but the words seem to get interchanged a lot.

I know this because I'm OVERfilled and I have my warranty information in a drawer and it's not void. :-)

HOWEVER,

I wouldn't suggest going over the max fill as it makes them harder (one of my only complaints). The less you fill them, the softer they are. On the flip side... the lesser you fill them the more apparent ripples can be. If you want a fill size but don't want to sacrifice the softness just go up a shell.

And something else to note, the more you fill an implant (especially after the max fill) the more you change it's shape. It will become thinner and project more. So it's something to take into account when trying to fill your max breast width/projection goals. Which is partially why I had to have the implant I did. :-)

HTH!

Yup! You've got it.

Just remember they get firmer when you do that.

Good luck!
