I went in for my first actual bra fitting this weekend at Nordstrom since I was cleared for underwire (finally!), and they measured me at a 32D. I was surprised that they fit so well, since I definitely don't look like a D. The bras were crazy expensive..about $80-$85, so I strolled over to VS to try to find a better deal. They don't carry 32D's at the store so I tried on a 34C which was too small. I then tried on the 34D, just to see and it fit pretty good not to mention, really comfortable. My point is that I can't believe I'm fitting into a D bra because I don't look it at all! I look like a small C at most. Does anyone else feel this way??

Here's a visual so you girls can see what I mean! And I'm still a little bruised from the surgery..

I think you look fabulous.. and they say augmented breasts are different than natural breasts, but if you were measured as a D, and a D fits well.. than you are a D.

its weird to fit into a D when we are soo used to fitting into the smaller sizes.. but I would think you are just comfortable with them now, and in our heads a D or bigger was always considered HUGE but now you realize D isn't so scary.

well im gonna go get fitted this weekend and everyone thinks i look liuke a DD but im thinknig im only a D cup.. i guess we just arent use to the big sizes

I am a DD but when I wear a t-shirt I feel like I am like back to my little baby A cups.
Haha. Fake boobs are great if you want to hide them.. but look so lovely in a bathing suit or sassy top.

Pinky, you and I are one and the same!
I always measure at a 32D but I feel I look like a small C cup. Usually I have to buy 34D bras since youre right, 32D's are very limited.

Yeah I know exactly how you feel. I feel the same way. I wear a 34 D but I don't look like it. I want to look like D. If I would have known this prior to surgery I would have went larger.

me 2! i'm also a 34D but dont look like it..I wanna look like a D! but i guess iam! haha it feels good to shop for D's bra doesnt it?

Before my redo I was fitting very nicely into 34DDD/E and even F. I would have NEVER guessed to even try on a size that big until I got measured at Nordstrom. They are HUGE, LOL!!! It's funny how you can fit in diff sizes and they all fit, just some fit better. I have a 34DD that made me look huge and was a bit too small but now after my redo is fitting much better

Oh, try TJ Maxx, you can find some high end bras there for $. I found a Natori 34for $11 and a Wacoal for $12; or Nordstrom Rack if you have one near you.
