Have any of you lied???

I didn't lie bfore my BA, but I honestly thought I'd be a smaller size than I am. Afterwards, I just avoided the question for a long time! I really didn't want my DH or my friends to know. Mostly, they still don't. I'm almost embarrassed to say I'm an E cup! It sounds so much bigger than it looks. So why tell? If I were you, I'd tell him you don't know exactly what size you'll be, because no PS can guarantee a certain size. It's an art, not a science. Then afterwards, it takes a long time till you actually know your final size, so you can just keep saying you don't know. Once he gets used to them, I don't think it will matter at all. He'll love your big, beautiful new boobs!

I wouldn't lie. I would just tell him you are aiming for a C/D. Explain that in most cases augmented breasts look smaller. So an augmented D typically looks like a C. I am an E cup and was aiming for a full C/small D. If I would have told my DH I was going to end up with an E cup, he would have freaked!!

i say do it...because even if they r a little bigger than what he wants he will love them regardless and u can always have the option of dressing them down. as oppose to getting them to small and then having to do a redo... and yes i lied i told everyone i was getting a C...when i actually told my surgeon i wanted a D and i ended up with a 34DD and i loooooove them...and its so easy to dress them down. I agree with that bit of advice. When naked or in a bikini (when quite a bit of your breast is showing) your breasts will look the size that they are, but when you are dressed in a regular t-shirt or something that isn't very form-fitting they can look much, much smaller. I hope that makes sense. Good luck with your boyfriend.

I am sorry but thats funnycos I always thought that you could fit a size 34D boob into a 36C with the only difference being the band measurements....have never lied about something like this but as we all know different brands of bras have different sizing...Give it a go when he believes that 36C is better cos I can´t imagine he will have a problem with your boobies - I mean, anyway they are yours!

If he loves you just they way you are now, im sure those feelings are not going to change with bigger boobies!

I have an older friend who is like a jewish mother to me. She is the one who referred me to my PS and she still goes to his office to get facials, etc. Anyway, I told her I was going for a full C/baby D. On the a.m. of surgery, I decided to up my CCs a bit. To this day, everytime she sees me she says, "I think Dr. **** made a mistake. You are much bigger than a full c/baby d." She has even gone into the office and complained to the aesthetician that Dr. ****** put the wrong implants in me. Of course, my PS's office stays mum about the whole thing because of the confidentiality issues. I thought lying would let me walk the path of least resistance with her so I wouldn't have to hear about how horrible big fakies would look, but in the end, I have to hear about how the PS screwed up. Sometimes, I just can't win with this Jewish mother who really even isn't my mother.

Anwway, he is your boyfriend, not the keeper of your body. You have to decide what you want because you have to live with the choice you made for many years. Just get what you want and tell him what he wants to hear. He is not going to know the difference in the end.

He won't know the difference, and he'll be happy anyway...I say you get what you want because it's your body! You have to figure they're yours for the rest of your life...men come and go! LOL

My mom thinks I was gonna get C cups, me and my boyfriend had wanted the Ds! lol Well she'll soon find out they are alot larger than just "C".

I wouldn't lie about it. Why don't you just tell him the truth...that a 36C is the same size as what you're wanting. Show him some pictures of a 36C. I think when men hear the letter D they do sort of freak out. But, a D can look different on every person.

I would get the size you want because if you don't you will regret it. He will be happily surprised when he sees the results!
