Need some cc advice!

Hi ladies- let me just start off by saying what a help everyone is on this forum! I'm really learning a lot- thanks to everyone that has shared

Okay so I'm debating between two cc sizes- 280cc cohesive gel and 315cc cohesive gel. My doctor is recommending the 280cc for me because I want to acheive a natural look- but I am concerned that I won't get the cup size I want. He says I will become a C/Full C. I have seen a lot of girls that have gotten Cs from 280ccs, but I think they are smaller than me (some of you girls are tiny!). I'm 5'5, 130 with a 30 inch ribcage. My surgeon thinks that 315ccs might have a bit of a ridge at the top of my chest while the 280ccs wouldn't- so I would look more natural. But I've heard a lot of girls who wish they went bigger!

So for those who wish they went bigger- why did you choose the size you did? Did you take the doctor's recommendation or were you just conservative? Its hard to choose- but then I think- its not that big a difference. Perhaps I should just go for the tiny bit bigger?

You can see from my siggy what I went with - I chose that size cos it was the biggest my PS would go ( he physically could not get anymore in) but I like big boobs and wasn't bothered about looking too fake! If I was you I would go for the bigger size I don't see why you would have a ridge??? Are you going over or under? Have you thought about anatomicals if you want the more natural look? You are right its not that bigger difference I'm sure the other more experienced girls will probably have a better idea than me, just thought I'd put my bit in!!!

We are going under the muscle- and I had a choice between two cohesive gel options (here in the States they are still part of studies) and of the two this was a better fit for me. The ridge issue was just a "maybe" but the doctor was really a fan of going with the 280cc. Its hard- I don't know why I'm agonizing over it so much, I guess I just want to go bigger but I know the doctor is the expert and I feel like I should take his advice. He left it up to me ultimately and I have a few weeks to decide!

Haven't had surgery yet, but here's my 2 cents, for what it's worth...I don't think there is a really big difference between the two sizes. I've always heard if you are in doubt, go with the larger, unless you are someone who is REALLY concerned about being too big in the end. But only you know how uncomfortable that will make you. Also with the unders you will lose 10-15% of the size because the muscle compresses the implant...so the larger size might work best? JMO...do with it as you please

Since my pre-op I have been planning on 250ccs but I of course have been second guessing myself now that my surgery is getting closer. I have been emailing with my PS (he also offered to have me come in again but I didn't think it was necessary) about my concerns. I also want a natural look and liked how the sizers looked in the office but I'm afraid I will end up smaller than that looked and be disappointed. He told me that he may use a tad larger implant (probably 275ccs) to account for going under the muscle. Ultimately I told him I was going to trust his judgement and let him make the final decision in surgery based on what he knows I am looking for. I would just make sure your PS is aware of your concerns. Maybe he can try both in surgery and go with what gives the best result (without any ridge)?

I went a little bigger than I originally wanted to go and also went bigger than my PS recommended. Originally I though about going with 300ccs. After researching for months and looking at hundreds of pictures of girls with close to or similar stats as me, I decided to go with 400cc. 400cc seemed like the size that would give me the look I wanted and to make sure I ended up with at least a small D. My PS wanted 350cc at most for me. I told her I would like to go with 400cc due to the pictures I have see and the researsch I had done. She told me I would be "All Boobs". The comment bothered me, but I stuck to my guns and told her I really want 400cc. She agreed to give me 400cc, but only because it was within my BWD. I am SOOOO happy I went with 400cc even though my PS did not want me to. I am soo happy with my results! I do not have any boobie greed...I would not change a thing about my breasts. Good Luck with choosing a size. I don't think there isn't a significant difference between 280cc and 315cc. I would choose the size you feel will make you happy.

Well, I have 300cc and I'm a bit smaller than you - and I was completely flat pre BA. I have unders and for the first couple months I did have that telltale ridge at the top of my chest. However, over time it has completely smoothed out and now I have a nice slope. So... you never know.

I'm one of the rare ones that wishes I went a little bit smaller, but most people wish they went bigger so I'd say go for the bigger size. There isn't much difference - just a couple tablespoons really.
