Smile OMG....I am stressing out

Surgery is tomorrow folks.....Okay..maybe not stressing out...more like obsessing over size. I gotta make a decision. The good thing is I can tell the doctor even at the last minute what size I want to go with..but I gotta make up my mind. Again..I will say I am supposedly a b cup.....in my right breast...it is a small b and smaller than my right breast...and in my left breast...I am a mid-full b cup. I want to make sure I can shop at Victoria's Secret, so I would prefer to not be bigger than a DD, but D would be ideal. I originally was going with 450ccs in one boobie and 470 in the other. I have a friend on here that is about my size and she started off with 425s..she is a small D and getting bigger and I like her size...I think that would fit my body. I know everyone is different...she started out a 34B and I am closer to a 36A at least at Victoria's Secret...don't fill out a 34B there. My ribcage is 31" and I am 5'10. I just want a few last opinions. I spoke with my surgeon yesterday and went up a smidgeon in size..not even 100ccs....get this you guys...I told him to do 500 in the smaller breast and 475 in the other breast. hahah

I know that with my height I can carry a nice sized implant..but I do not want to have to shop at specialty stores. I can't afford to spend 80.00 per bra. hahah

Ok, so I am only two days out from surgery and basically have no idea what size I will eventually be or how I will like that size ...... but I am the same height as you, started with a full C and the bra the surgeon put me in after surgery says 34 E on the label in the back. Sounds big but it really doesn't look even half as big as it sounds. So my last minute opinion for you would be not to be afraid of the larger size you have choosen. I think you will most likely enjoy it afterwards. Good luck tomorrow !!

wish i could help. I'm trying to figure out the whole size thing too. Did the surgeon lend any advice as to what size will look best on your frame?

Although 30 ml sounds like a lot, it is not. It is merely a fluid ounce or two tablespoons. So, if you are struggling between a 360 ml implant and a 390 ml implant (for example), you should stop torturing yourself. They are so similar that if you like one, you will also like the other. Conversely, if you end up deciding (after surgery) that the 360 was too small, then the 390 would have been too small and vice-versa. Once you have narrowed your selection down to two or three sizes, Dr. Loftus simply recommends you choose the largest among them, as this is associated with greatest satisfaction in the end.

Following is an extremely rough guideline for the volume required to change a single cup size. Multiply by two or three for multiple cup size changes. Based on variation among bra manufacturers and women, please do not hold Dr. Loftus or your plastic surgeon accountable if these volumes are not accurate in your case.

Bra Circumference Volume Needed to Increase By One Cup Size
32 100-200 ml
34 150-250 ml
36 200-300 ml
38 250-350 ml

From the website of Dr. Jean Loftus, KY. I like this info because so many women get caught up between, for example 330 and 360, and the truth is, it's not a big difference. She also says a woman should choose the largest size she is comfortable with, because most women end up too small (or get greed ) Good luck to you!!!!

Thanks! I really like this Dr. Loftus. As soon as I can I am going to have my consult with her (even though she is 4.5h away!) Her info is very honest and even blunt- she admits most of us won't get "everything" we want and I like that.

Are you nervous? Excited? Less than 24 hours!

I'm 5'9 145lbs. 475cc's large size C without bra (Ribcage 32). I wear 38 D in bra's. Wish I had asked for 600. So, go with your gut and just go for it. The size you have chosen will give you a small D. Good luck with your BA!

Hey girl-
When in doubt, go bigger. It's amazing how quickly you'll get used to them.

I think he thinks I should stick with 450-500 range based on me saying I want to stay in the D range and not look like a sexy entertainer. ahah

tabby has an excellent post! it seems that you should go a little bigger than you planned judging by other girls stories to help ensure you avoid that nasty boobie greed bug. i hope it doesn't get me.

My only advice would be that it's alot easier to make your breasts look bigger than smaller.
I was scared of going to big and looking like a pornstar, so I was a little conservative.
I LOVE how they look now. Sometimes I get boobie greed when I'm on this site to much, but then I just put on a pushup bra for extra omf! and I'm on my way
But MOST important.... Good luck tomorrow, we'll all be rooting for you on here.
Keep us posted!!
I'm super excited to see your pics, you'll look fabulous
