Okay, so I've heard a lot of you ladies talking about D&F and I'm not sure how that works. I'm 48 hrs PO and I love the size they are now, but I know once the swelling goes down they will be smaller.
Well I'm confused, does the D&F make you bigger or does it shrink you even smaller?

My understanding of D&F is that it makes you bigger. As the muscle relaxes the upper pole fullness drops (DROP) into the pocket and gives off a fuller (FLUFF) look in the lower pole which gives off more projection. Hope that makes sense

Fluffing refers to getting bigger once your muscles let go of the implants and they drop down into the pocket. But I have read on here of some girls just dropping and staying the same size and even fewer who have gotten smaller. But, from reading on this forum, you will typically gain a size or two w/d&f, but this could take up to a year. My ps has told me that it should take no longer than 6 months to drop. We shall see....I'm patiently waiting!!

For me dropping and fluffing (settling as the PS's like to refer to it) has not increased my cup size but rather has caused me to fill the cup differently than I did early on. Rather than having some emptiness at the bottom of the bra and LOTS of fullness out of the top like busting out of the bra, my boobs are filling the bottom of the bra and less it "busting" out of the top. The are fuller on bottom and a bit less full on top, fits the bra better than the first two months.
